I've seen a few posts float around with links to help the Ukrainian military forces and since I haven't seen any more yet, I'd like to share this tweet, with links to donate to organizations that are not military-related:
Proliska by bank transfer (humanitarian aid, relocation to affected people, food, clothing, health supplies, psychological help and more)
Ukrainian Red Cross by card or G pay ($5 = ~150₴)
Donbas SOS by card, G pay or bank transfer
Ukraine Humanitarian Fund (with the United Nations Office For the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs) by card
[personal additions]
Voices of Children by card (psychological help to Ukrainian children affected by the trauma of war)
Jewish Community of Odessa by card or Paypal

[TWEET ID: a tweet by user CarnationGreen, posted on the 23rd of February 2022. In Ukrainian, it reads: "ВАЖЛИВО! я хочу допомогти постраждалим від військових дій українцям, але не хочу надсилати кошти армії. що робити? список організацій які займаються гуманітарною підтримкою !!" followed by links to the organizations Proliska, Ukranian Red Cross, Donbas SOS, and Ukrainian Humanitarian Fund, as linked above in the tumblr post. Translated with the help of an automatic translator, it means: "IMPORTANT! I want to help Ukrainians suffering from military action, but I do not want to donate money to the army. What to do? The list of organizations engaged in humanitarian support!". END OF TWEET ID.]
For people who might be concerned about the trustworthiness of these charities, I've provided some links that prove their legitimacy.
Proliska is linked to & verified by the UNHCR.
Ukrainian Red Cross is a branch of the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent. (I'm not a fan of the Red Cross myself, but it's a legitimate charity.)
Donbas SOS is verified by Euromaidan Press, which Media Bias Fact Check rates as high factual reliability with slight to moderate Left-Center bias.
Ukraine Humanitarian Fund, as stated above and seen in the link, is linked to the UN Foundation.
Voices of Children is verified by The Guardian, who also suggest Sunflower of Peace and United Help Ukraine, which are both Ukranian based charities focused on providing medical supplies and humanitarian aid.
The Jewish Community of Odessa campaign is run by Rabbi Avraham Wolff, who is a highly respected leader of the community who has an extensive history of charity work.
So all of these check out! I'd also encourage people to donate to the European Roma Rights Centre. Romani are among the most vulnerable people in Ukraine and are going to suffer disproportionately from this war. They face persecution and ethnic violence from all sides. Additionally, many Romani are unable to leave Ukraine; even if they wanted to and had the physical means, at the moment Slovakia is the only country which has announced that it won't require documentation from Ukrainian refugees. But Romani have been systemically prevented from obtaining documentation; in 2018, 20% of Roma in Ukraine were stateless. There's no current fundraiser specifically for Ukrainian Roma right now, but the ERRC will certainly get involved in fighting for the rights of Ukrainian Roma.
Stay safe. Take care of yourselves. And stand for what is right, even when your voice feels too small to matter. Every pebble is part of a landslide and every ripple matters. We do what we can with what we have, and that is enough.

this world can be so kind. butterflies will land and stick in your hair, the smell of rain will float through your mind in the middle of the night, the water we swim in is cold and clear, the fruits we eat so sweet. this world can be so, so kind.
