The Best Video Maker Software
https://thebreakthroughmarketer.com/the-best-video-maker-software/
A lot of people ask, “What is the best video maker software to use for marketing videos?”
With the abundance of applications out there, it’s easy to get overwhelmed. The truth is: there is no one best video maker. You need to look at what you’re trying to accomplish, the look and feel you want to portray, and what software is going to get you the video you want the fastest.
Since I’m a bit of a tech geek, I have several different video tools that I use for different aspects of my video marketing needs.
This week, I’m going to share my favorite video creation tools and, hopefully, make it easier for you to make the best choice for you. Sometime in the next few months, we’ll take a look at video editing and distribution tools, but there are too many to squeeze into one week!
Throughout the week, we’ll dig a little deeper into some of the software you can use to create videos, but for today I wanted to give you a high-level overview of the kinds of tools you should consider. Look at this as a cheat sheet or resource guide.
Here is my list of the 10 best video maker software tools for internet marketers: NOTE: This list is focused on creation, not editing and compositing. NOTE #2: The list is ordered alphabetically because I love them all and couldn’t figure out how to prioritize them!
1. Blender (Free)
http://tbmgo.com/blender.htm Blender is a powerful suite of tools that you can use to create 3D animation. It encompasses all aspects of 3D animation: modeling, rigging, animation, simulation, rendering, compositing and motion tracking. It even has tools for editing and game creation. Be aware: this is not a tool you can master quickly. It’s serious animation software, and will take time to learn.
2. Camtasia Studio. ($299.00)
http://tbmgo.com/camtasia.htm I’ve been using Camtasia Studio for years, and it remains my number one tool for editing video marketing content. For video creation, though, Camtasia Recorder (one of the tools built into the software) is the best screen capture tool I’ve used. It’s intuitive, allows you to control what windows or portions of windows are recorded, and gives you options for how the mouse is displayed to make it easier for your viewers to follow along.
3. Easy Animator Pro. ($47.00)
http://tbmgo.com/easyanimator.htm This is an amazing tool for creating short animations to be used in longer videos and as effective pattern interrupts on your web pages. And it really IS easy. There is a free version available that will give you a feel for what the software can do, and you can download it right here ==> Click here to download, no opt-in required.
4. Easy Sketch Pro. ($49.00)
http://tbmgo.com/esp.htm Over the last few years, sketch (aka explainer) videos have become more popular among video marketers because they give the viewers something more interesting to look at. For a long time, the cost of producing these videos was very high, but over the last couple of years, a few apps have been released that eliminate that barrier. By far, the easiest sketch video tool I own is Easy Sketch Pro. It’s simple and straight-forward, plus it has a couple of cool features that increase viewer engagement.
5. Explaindio Video Creator. ($57.00/year)
http://tbmgo.com/explaindio.htm This is my favorite tool for creating sketch videos with a lot of integrated animation. As with most advanced video creation tools, Explaindio does have a bit of a learning curve, but the results are absolutely worth it. Let me be clear – it takes a while to learn because it has a ton of features, not because it’s difficult.
6. PowerPoint. ($109.99 or $79.99 for 1 year MS Office subscription)
http://tbmgo.com/powerpoint.htm OR http://tbmgo.com/msoffice.htm You may think PowerPoint is just a fancy slide show presentation tool, but it has built-in features that make it a video marketer’s dream. You can use the built-in animations to move objects around the screen pretty much any way you want. When you combine animations with transitions, you can create videos that look like real motion pictures.
7. Powtoon (Free – $197/month)
http://tbmgo.com/powtoon.htm Powtoon has a ton of characters, objects, scenes, backgrounds, transitions, etc. to make some fantastic videos that capture your viewer’s attention. It’s easy to use and almost addicting. The team at Powtoon also provided some templates to give you a starting point that dramatically reduces the time it takes to make a video.
8. Synfig Studio (Free)
http://tbmgo.com/synfig.htm This amazing software allows you to create film-quality 2D animation using a vector and bitmap images. Like Blender, this is a serious animation studio, so don’t expect to pop out quick videos; it’s for serious projects that take time to develop.
9. VideoMakerFX ($67.00)
http://tbmgo.com/vmfx.htm When you want to create slide-style presentations, and you like to work from templates, it’s hard to beat VideoMaker FX. It’s pretty easy to use and it has a lot of templates that you can tailor to quickly publish business-centric videos. I use it mostly for client commercials, but use your imagination and come up with something unique to you.
10. Windows Movie Maker (Free)
http://tbmgo.com/moviemaker.htm Of course, I’m a Windows user, so I apologize to the Mac users out there for excluding you. This software will let you create beautiful videos with images, embedded videos, and text overlays. The transitions are really cool, too. It’s great for creating engaging content quickly.
As you can see, there are a lot to choose from, and they each bring something unique and valuable to video creators. Stay tuned this week, and we’ll dig a little bit deeper into some of these killer video makers.
