EPISODE CL: BOUNDARIES ARE SO PLEASING
GC: FLEX AND FLEXIBILITY
Why is it that doctors can make you wait forever, but if you’re five minutes late, you’re canceled? Taking a deep dive into the excruciating annoyance of modern life and why the only real solution is a deep breath and a shift in perception. Let’s focus on the important stuff and leave the rest behind.
Life can be the most frustrating thing in the world. We make plans, and they almost always fall apart. We want things to arrive early, and
GC: THE BATH IN THE DESERT
We Don't Need No Stinking Benches. Currently desert bathing and asking the real questions: Who decided a tree is a "tree"? Who named a plant a "Foxtail"? And why is there a bench in the middle of this beautiful desert? 🌵 A meditation on tangents, 100-degree heat, and staying grounded from the bottom up.
I’m currently in the middle of the desert, practicing what they call "desert bathing." It’s based on the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku

GC: PISS OFF (WITH HONORS)
Teachers told me the most they expected from me was to be pumping gas. I didn’t even finish my senior year.
Watching my kid graduate this weekend has me looking back at all that high school bullshit and how I finally turned it around in my 20s. To anyone graduating: it’s not too late to change your path.
Want to find out more, check out the Chronicle this week.
A big theme for me this weekend is transitions—the changing road ahead and all the shit spinning in my head. A lot of it comes from my kid g
EPISODE CL: THE DISAPPOINTING MAN
GC: THE MALEVOLENT MIND
“You don’t meditate to stop the thoughts; you meditate so the thoughts don’t stop you.”
My head has been a total shit show this week. Full-scale, nuclear, boots-on-the-ground war happening between my ears. If you’ve ever felt like a fraud while trying to lead your life, this one’s for you.
I’m breaking down how to stop the "inner battlefield" from burning the whole house down and why we have to learn to Begin Again—even when we’ve fallen off the mat for months.
Yesterday on Friday FaceTime, I talked about how our thoughts write our reality. But the truth is, sometimes those thoughts are absolute
CG: WEEKEND
So, I’ve decided to move the Gratitude Chronicle to Saturdays.
The core of it is this: Why do we live for Fridays? We look forward to them because we’ve been told we need that 40-hour cage just to survive. My father used to call it "the program."
Well, I say fuck the program. And I say fuck that shit.
Think about it. You’re doing the same thing all seven days: You’re living. Why can't you do something nice for yourself on a Tuesday?
I’ve been in the rat race. I’ve had bosses try to tell me what to do while they kicked down everything I tried to build. I took those lessons and built my own path. I truly believe self-employment and the gig economy are the way to go—because time is the only thing that actually makes you rich.
Just because it’s Saturday, it doesn't make today "better." You still have problems. But you also have the power to stay stable in the present and give yourself forgiveness.
Do that every single day. That is living.
So, I’ve decided to move the Gratitude Chronicle to Saturdays. Since I brought back the "Michael Moment," I wanted to do this "Friday FaceT

GC: A WAY OF LIFE
The brain is a motherfucker.
It doesn’t want you to heal. It wants you to stay in the familiar rot of your own mental blocks. It wants to ignore the heart scare and pretend everything is fine while it burns the house down around you.
Starting again isn’t about a new year or a fresh start. It’s about the small and steady grit of choosing to breathe when your own mind is trying to suffocate you.
It’s ugly. It’s slow. And it’s the only way out.
Read this weeks Gratitude Chronicle and check out the rest of the site and buy a shirt damn it!!!!
I’ve said the words "begin again" a thousand times. In this column, on the show, and whispered to myself at 3 AM when the walls were closing
