“Sigil Nullifier”
Requested by: sass-master-hades
NOTE: This sigil nullifies other sigils. It is intended to prevent other sigils from accidentally activating, such as in cases where sigils are recorded in a grimoire for reference or where a sigil is displayed for purely decorative purposes. On a singular basis, the most effective placement of this Sigil Nullifier is on the underside of the recorded or displayed sigil. Where sigils are recorded in a book, the Sigil Nullifier is most effective when drawn twice: once on the first page of the book, and once on the last page.

Potent minimalist art sends a strong message about police and vigilante brutality in America
Journalist and artist Shirin Barghi has created a gripping, thought-provoking series of graphics that not only examines racial prejudice in today’s America, but also captures the sense of humanity that often gets lost in news coverage. Titled “Last Words,” the graphics illustrate the last recorded words by Brown and other young black people — Trayvon Martin, Oscar Grant and others — who have been killed by police in recent years.
Let us not forget their voices
St. Louis-based artist Cayce Zavaglia (whom we profiled on the blog last year) creates painterly portraits using wool thread as her primary medium. Zavaglia’s works can be viewed from both sides: one, photorealistic and precise and the other, gestural and abstract. The artist says that this duality speaks to the brave face we present to the world and the vulnerability we experience privately. Her latest portraits will be exhibited with Lyons Wier Gallery during Art Miami, December 2 through 7. See more on Hi-Fructose.
The Third & The Seventh Alex Roman
"In essence, this is a book on digital art. It compiles a host of high resolution computer-generated images taken from the scenes and spaces contained in “The Third & The Seventh” short. Plain and simple.
People are going to find a strong emphasis on artistic principles as well as an important part dedicated to CG techniques. The idea is to have a book that can be useful both as a resource for strong traditional arts theory as well as a reference book, combined with a great collection of over 120 high resolution CG images. It is not a step-by-step tutorial book, though. It intends to deal with much more essential concepts that in my view are lacking in the way digital artists are trained these days, and that’s what I wanted to address.”
