"There you are," Alfonse greeted the summoner eagerly. Some small anxiety plagued him, as was evident by his expression, but that was hardly out of the ordinary. There was always SOME worry on his mind. In this instance, that worry was Kiran, and all of the people around who Alfonse had not had the chance to personally vet before they interacted with the Summoner. That, however, was not what brought him over.
A momentary glance was cast at the summoner's attire. That familiar cloak was draped about their shoulders, but their hood was down. Beneath the cloak, they were clad in finer clothes than they normally wore. Not an extravagant outfit by any means, but it didn't need to be anything of the sort. It worked well. The hyacinths in their bouquet matched the blue trim on the inside of their cloak the blue of their headband quite nicely. It also matched Alfonse's own bouquet-- funny, that.
"I've brought the photo-artifex," Alfonse stated. "It takes-- oh, you know what it does. You've seen these before. Anyway, I thought it might be nice for us to take a picture together. Sharena and Anna would be delighted to see it. That wouldn't be too troublesome to ask of you, would it? If you've plans already and don't have the time, I'll not force you."
Of course, the first thing to get Kiran out of the world of their book and back to reality was Alfonse’s voice. They blinked, turning to the other with a smile. Page 56. Page 56. Page 56. Page 56. Page—
Repeating the page number over and over was sure to remind them later. A small curse was sent to past Kiran (aka Kiran of only some moments ago) who’d arrived without any bookmarks. They closed their book and took a proper look at their friend’s outfit. Of the two of them, Alfonse’s outfit was more elaborate than theirs. Still! They had some of the other’s colours! Matching in some way was still matching.
With so many people here, talking felt a bit… stifling but they could manage a few words for Alfonse. “Yes!!” they nodded, stepping into place next to Alfonse almost immediately. Taking a hyacinth of theirs, they placed it in Alfonse’s hair. “Matches.”
Now, for the perfect pose… oh! RIGHT! They had the absolute perfect prop for this! Holding a finger up, Kiran quickly rummaged through their pockets and TA DA!! Their favourite good luck charm. To ensure Sharena and Anna could see Alfonse’s likeness to the figurine, they held it by his face.
