My newest creation.
Been working on this design for a couple of weeks now. It’s been through plenty of iterations, plenty. I’ve found that when you’re struggling with an idea, try not to think about what to add. Instead, think about what to take away.
And one more because black is beautiful
Because everyone likes red
My newest design. A high top for every occasion.
So, it's been a while since I've shared some of my personal artwork. This is mostly because I honestly haven't had the desire to create anything in my free time. I've started a ton of things....a ton, and they're all living in that lonely place that is my hard drive never to be touched again.
In my experience as a 3d artist in the games industry, so much of your work is about executing on someone else's vision, whether it be a concept or direction from higher ups. Most personal projects I've worked on in the past have been for the purpose of having an awesome portfolio piece where the content is mostly dictated by what skills employers want to see. Don't get me wrong, I love working in games and I'm very fortunate to do something I love for a living but as an artist, I've forgotten how to just make something simply because I want to.
With all that being said, I've (finally) been working on some new stuff that is new ground for me and has totally taken over my free time. This is just one of my creations. I just have one question. Would you rock these?
Life at the airport
Had some tonight for a quick torso study. I hate to admit it but this is my first art output of 2014.....and it's now july! Time to change that, cheers!
