David nodded once more, leaning his head back against the soft cushion of the couch as he stared up at the ceiling a bit. At least his vision stopped being blurry but he was sure those bruises would probably remain for a week or two – not like he had looked into a mirror yet but if look remotely as bad as it felt, well that would suck. “That depends on what princess it is .. some of them are bitches,” he pointed out with a slight grin, however it made him flinch a bit because his cheek didn’t feel all too happy with the movement. So he straightened his posture again, turning to face her so she could do whatever she needed to.
“Elsa and if you say she’s a bitch, I’ll be incredibly disappointed you. So will the kids.” As Felicity spoke, she pulled out an antiseptic wipe and began to dab at his wound gently. “The kids weren’t quite old enough to really get into the Frozen hype when the first film came out but they definitely did this time, let me tell you. Although I’m much more okay with listening to ‘Into the Unknown’ on repeat then ‘Let it Go’.” She kept on babbling as she worked, hoping that it would offer a distraction from the stinging of the antiseptic. Not that she thought he’d tell her if it did hurt.
