This one took me awhile to get through. I started reading it a few months ago pre-puppy and college classes, but now that I’ve finally finished it I’m pretty sad the story is over.
Synopsis
Evelyn is a kind hearted Imperial girl who has never had to want for anything, and Florian, born Flora, is a strong, determined pirate who has had to work hard all his life. When these two vastly different characters meet in a voyage to the Floating Islands that is supposed to unite Evelyn with her betrothed, they discover new truths about themselves and each other, including how far they will go for love.
I adored this book! I’m a sucker for a good pirate story, and this is a queer pirate story with a diverse cast, so it checked several boxes for me. My rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
