Hello >▽< I've read your daarin fics again after a few years (esp the Dancing Around Each Other one), and I cannot fathom on how good your writing is!! I NEED to show my appreciation for your works, with how their bickering felt so in-character, and the dance at the end was so sweet. I genuinely had to listen to White Ball by Miracle Musical (I recommend listening it's so good >▽< ) for that part because of how much I imagined Karin and Daan every time I listened to it, AND YOU MANAGED TO GET WHAT I HAVE BEEN IMAGINING FOR THE PAST WEEK!! I sincerely hope you keep on pursuing this kind of art! It makes me so happy that there are more people who has this kind of passion, and it's amazing to see and witness it amidst everything that has been happening around us Holy yap, but I severely wanted to vocalize my appreciation! Your fanfics brought my passion back for Funger (both 1 & 2) immensely, thank you for your work!!

I always make it a habit to express gratitude when I receive positivity but truly (in *total* absolution), thank you for your kindness and candor :^P  I listened to White Ball, and you are right, it does fit both the fic and Daarin! So much so that I’ve now listed the song in the A/N of the fic.

Across all my past works, there are many parts that I wish I wrote differently and doubt myself. I mention this to double down on my gratefulness. Your second paragraph truly touched me on how you encouraged me to keep writing despite everything. As of right now I’m struggling to come up with the words to properly illustrate my feelings. Truthfully ... I write to reach people, so I'm glad I reached you.

Originally, my Daarin works ("The Trajectory of Mercury & Pluto") were supposed to be a trilogy. I don’t want to make a promise I can’t keep so please take the following skeptically. Just for you, I’ll take a crack at reorganizing/drafting what the third Daarin work was going to be!

Chapter 3 of my fanfic is DONE!! It was a lot of off-and-on progress but I finally got my braincells together to succinctly paint the picture I wanted. Thank you to everyone who waited, you mean a lot to me. As I said before, there will be a hiatus between this chapter and the next to please stay tuned for that! Notice of Hiatus 03/03/2026

The title if self-explanatory but I always value answers and closure rather than abrupt radio silence. I won’t delude myself to think that I have a large enough following to warrant such a long explanation but I’m trying something new by getting personal. After all, if there is a small chance of someone appreciating or even identifying with my struggles, I’ll carry forth. I’ve been told by a friend that I tend to over-explain but I’ll try my best not to do that. Let’s start from the very beginning.

I began writing fanfictions as a way to express my authentic self since I cannot do so in real life. It gave me a great sense of accomplishment to write stories, especially when people gave me positive comments/kudos. If anyone out there has ever left me love on my fanfics, thank you immensely, ily, I think about you a lot. I apologize if my replies aren’t up to par as I upkeep privacy/this account is my haven. Even though it seems like I never post, make no mistake that I am constantly writing and re-writing my fanfictions. Things only get posted when I am inevitably satisfied after my endless tweezing and pruning (However make no mistake that I am a hobbyist at the end of the day). I try my best to finish writing all my posted fanfics, so if you are waiting on my next chapter, sit tight for a long while.

“So, why the hiatus knuckle-nuts?” Well, because I can’t live like this anymore. Spending all my downtime at my job and at-home writing fanfic can’t go on for me. It’s not that I’m burnt out, hell no bro. I’d love to just pursue my passions and hobbies in an small town for the rest of my life. It’s just … I can’t let my living situation continue. Where I long to be free, I am instead dependent on people who allegedly ‘love’ me but don’t want me to grow or change. Think of this post as someone performatively throwing their vape into a glass of water. It’s more for me than it is for you. I have to change. I don’t have a lot of free time, so something needs to give. My plan is to study for my LSAT and then go to law school next year. I’ve saved a bit a money from my job, and I thought I would stay longer there but I can’t. I really wish I could, but I can’t.

If you want to know what really kicked me in the ass, I rewatched the ending to ‘I Saw The TV Glow’ while watching Nikki Carreon’s video. To be blunt … it sent me into a full mental breakdown. It made me admit that I’m not happy where I am in life; that my ideal self/life CAN exist, but I self-sabotage from being metaphorically suffocated day to day. The only conclusion that made sense to me was …

Even though my best friend doesn't know my fanfic username, shoutout to her for being the wind beneath my sails!!! I want to leave this post off with a deep-heartfelt ‘Thank You’ to my readers. While I plan on coming back, I’ve been raised to be fatalistic and treat every goodbye as if it’s my last. So incase I leave forever, know that my writings come from my soul; a saccharine desire for that kind of love to find me as well. If anyone ever needs a gentle push to act, all I can do is direct them to play Disco Elysium (edit by @/polnareffss).
