you know... something COULD be said about the fact the bourgeoisie in Westeros seemed to have a HUGE problem with idea of breaking their wheel they grew so comfortable underneath.
Not to completely ignore Daenerys’ massive authoritarian speech about dominating the world.... but like.... they did not like the idea of liberating the folk that they had continuously taken advantage of.... and I think that should be an important consideration when actually analyzing those who oppose Daenerys’ ideals. While the execution for it still lacks, and she ultimately was attempting to become the tyrant she just deposed... It’s a weird sorta moral grey area.
Do you fight the tyrant whose changes could ultimately help those that their world has deemed ‘other’, less deserving of commodities and rights afforded to those on top ........ or do you save those same people from fighting a war against their own progress.
I won’t pretend to think Dany’s ending was anything other than full heel turn... but I do find it incredibly interesting that people don’t comment on the fact that those who were threatened by her were those who already had power and wealth.. those with the most to lose. They didn’t want that to change.. They didn’t want to lose their status quo
Random small headcanons
Daenerys could be considered a man eater honestly.... (more on this later)
She has a habit of ‘swallowing’ her emotions, usually tears/sadness. She’ll take a deep breath and swallow and the need to cry manages to go away.. usually
A big reason why Daenerys prefers her hair tied back is that her skin is extra sensitive. It’s often dry in the Essosian sun and itchy. Her hair brushing across her chest or face can cause her to clench in annoyance and often leads to scratching. Because she’s so pale, scratching just leaves redness. Her face reddens quite easily.
when bald, dany often wears head scarves while still in Essos to protect against the burning sun.
Fire may not kill a dragon, but Sunburn is incredibly uncomfortable...

WHAT MONSTER FROM FOLKLORE PROTECTS YOU ?
THE CALADRIUS.
The shadows are the safest place... They are the place no one will think to look for you. With an unassuming external facade of a simple white bird, the caladrius does not seem like something to pay particular attention to. However, this creature hailing from Roman mythos is capable of a miracle like no other: healing the sick. The caladrius nestles down on the chests of the diseased and ailing, its fantastical feathers absorb the ailment from the sick. With a mighty caw, it rides skyward, flinging itself and the sickness into the sun's blazing fury. It sacrifices itself for the betterment of others. This is the true beauty of the caladrius. You don't seem like much... You're average. You have always been easily overlooked. The minority. Never had a problem blending into the crowd for a large part of you life. Maybe you have never been the type to readily accept a compliment. Whatever your reason, for a while you were content like this. You are fiercely loyal to your friends, maybe you would even die for them. Beneath your meek demeanour is a burning spirit. One that will not stand to watch other's suffering. The caladrius notices your flame and strives to preserve it. It understands that sometimes, you need to care for yourself before you care for others. Under its protection, you may sense who you can trust and who you should avoid. Just be wary of whom you choose to use your gifts for...Sometimes the cure is worse than the disease.
