This my friends is ART.
Colin Morgan looking deliciously fluffy and scruffy in rehearsals for All My Sons with Jenna Coleman. I CANNOT WAIT TO WATCH THIS.

A Rant About Colin Morgan “Fans”
Today, not long from now, a supposed “fan” of Colin Morgan will begin posting video clips from his brand new film Benjamin, despite my–and others’–request not to do so.
This is not some big budget cinematic Marvel universe blockbuster we’re talking about. Benjamin is a small, independent LGBT film. Keep in mind that, while it is available to rent on streaming services in the UK, the film was literally released in cinemas two days ago, and is still actively in theatres, trying to earn back the investment that the production company gave it so that it could be made.
Other fans on this site have posted ways in which international fans could legitimately access the film so that they could also financially support it. Many of us fans that do not live in the UK have availed ourselves of these means in order to both view and financially support the film.
Therefore, it frustrates and incenses me more than I can accurately put into words that someone would find it MORALLY ACCEPTABLE to pirate a rented video stream (because Benjamin is not available for purchase at this time, only for rental) for a film that just opened ffs! and post otherwise unreleased scenes online before even most people in country have been able to see it.
Spoiling the film so soon after its release literally takes money away from the film’s creators and, if there were profit options in Colin’s contract, it literally takes money away from the person you supposedly support!
Make no mistake, this isn’t about supporting Colin’s work. Because, if it were, the “fan” would instead be trying to amplify the ways that more people could legitimately support the film. No, this is about gaining attention for oneself by being the first to post something, even at the expense of the project and the people involved in it.
This is not the first time this particular “fan” has spoiled Colin’s projects in what I consider to be an inappropriate manner. Just a couple of months ago, she was posting audio clips from The Worldship Humility that contained spoilers just a few days after the book became available. Certainly, it was not enough time for most people with access to the audiobook to have completed their listen, and yet, she took it upon herself to determine that it was fine to spoil a few choice key moments from the book in order to gain more clicks and followers.
And while I am upset with this specific person at the moment, sadly I know she won’t be the first or the last to do something like this.
Make no mistake that it is more that I have issues with this sort of “fan” in general than just one person.
Colin has said in more than one interview in the last couple of years that there isn’t enough support for the really good stories, that there isn’t enough financial support being given to them. And here you guys are, pirating his stuff and sharing it willy-nilly just after it’s released without even a thought to these very issues that Colin is trying to fight against by the projects he chooses.
Do not call yourself a “fan” if Colin is simply “eye candy” to you or a smooth voice to listen to but you don’t give a shit otherwise. Do not go around calling yourself his “fan” when you disrespect his beliefs and his life’s work for your own selfish needs. With “fans” like that, who needs enemies?
If you’re reading this right now and you feel that these things are all well and good “in the interest of the fandom”, then please, I beg you, unfollow me now. Because I have no interest in associating with the kinds of “fans” that give the rest of us a bad name.
Well said. It’s a real shame that they are potentially taking away revenue from Colin’s projects to satisfy their own ego.
Love is an awkward thing, especially for Benjamin. A promising young filmmaker (Humans star Colin Morgan) is thrown into emotional disarray over the release of his second film, when he meets French musician Noah. From comedian turned film-maker Simon Amstell and also starring Anna Chancellor (Four Weddings and a Funeral) and Joel Fry (Game of Thrones), this bitter-sweet comedy is not to be missed.
For those Colin Morgan lovers who can’t watch it on the big screen here’s a link to Benjamin on Amazon Prime
happy birthday to our baby and happy new year to everyone
Can I just say when you go on the Colin Morgan tag, there's unfortunately SG fans who want to spit on him and it was just to say about a year ago I had the privilege to go to the BFI showing of The Living and the Dead and there in the audience was Katie McGrath. She was gracious and beautiful and so wonderful to the many Merlin fans in the audience. It was a privilege to meet her personally but it was clear she was there to ultimately support her good friend/lover/whatever. So it was just to point out to those that are there to ridicule him for his body or circumstances he was born with to just fuck off.
Happy International Women’s Day Merlin Fandom!!
I think it's fair to say that was the best Humans episode yet. Obviously the charging scene on the bed... well that was just about the hottest thing ever. Interesting that soon as his ‘family’ are away Leo becomes really sexualized.
I've been critical of season 2 but there was more of Leo in this than anything else so far. As much as Hester is clearly sign posted as a no good character, she’s allowed him to become evolved, looks to be for the worse but you never know. I think he will have an epiphany somewhere down the line about the meaning of life.
When I first saw pictures of Hester I did feelthat they would get together at some point, merely from the basic flimsy premise that that's what happens when two attractive adults are in company for a length of time. They totally sizzled together as well and it was a good grown up sexy scene even before it cut away before things got heavy.
I hope this fairly fucked up relationship lets us delve deeper into his character more. She is there questioning his thoughts and feelings and where he sees himself in the world. I'm still going with my theory that he will die this series and I don't think it will be in her arms either, he's too scared of her for a start.
Athena's pursuit of the Elster synths as well makes me think it will end with him sacrificing himself to save the others. I could be wrong but another series would tie Colin Morgan into another 5-6 months filming when he seems to be really blooming in his very different roles since Merlin and I can’t really see him sticking with this long term.
The ending was fantastic splicing between Athena and Pete, it was a complete surprise and unnerving as anything.
And I was cheering on both Mia and Niska. I really couldn't take to nice but dull and also dopey Ed anyway. And there's no one who deserves happiness more than Max.
A 5Star rating from me.
Okay perhaps it’s because Colin Morgan looks so hot this season (shallow I know but there’s not much more to go on) that I’m still trying to figure what will happen to Leo Elster in Humans... (spoilers)
He’s went from being suicidal over his failure to provide for his synth family last season to a very brief departure with the 2 people that he cares about most in the world and who care for him. Isn't that the whole thing what differentiates a Human from a Synth, the ability to feel, so what about the half-synth, why not dwell on him for a bit and you know, how he might be feeling.
He’s clearly got a lot on his plate given his circumstances, but he’s been given hardly any screentime as to what going on his mind. He’s had so little dialog at all, only Colin’s acting has given the viewer any insight that there’s a lot of sorrow going on there as well.
I’m pretty sure all roads lead to him (the C4 publicity, the storyline with Athena Morrow and DI Voss) but for god's sake give him some sort of context. If the show can devote precious scenes to having 2 minor human characters displaying synth qualities (yawn...) then surely it can give us a wee bit of air time to what might be going on between Leo and Hester, for instance. They hardly seem to know each other at all yet he’s willing to act on her word against the guy created for him, his brother, and who jumped off a bridge to save him. Yet we’ve got endless scenes with Joe and the rest of the Hawkins who I couldn’t really give a shit about. I can about tolerate Mattie but her constant sarcasm is wearing and she is such A Teenager (hence why I don't think they will go down the road of 'Leotilda’ (which I personally find eew)).
I personally don’t think Leo will survive this season. There's so much importance given to his hybridness and not enough to his qualities as a person. Given that Qualia is on the case, the Government have Niska and there’s the police storyline (I’ve forgotten the name, but it seems to go in the same direction), it’s ramping up to his inevitable capture (which is recycled in itself from the last series, so outcome can't surely be repeated). Mia and Niska are already at risk and Max will probably follow. Perhaps it ends up with him trading his life for theirs as a means to atone for his fairly awful behaviour towards them, especially Max and possibly Niska also.
I am hoping for some scenes with Leo and Niska. There's something underlying there that hasn't been developed in the show (like when he came to see her in the brothel and when he called her out for murdering that guy) but I need to ponder over that too.... I love Niska and Astrid btw so it's not that I see them together.
Feel free to message me if I’m getting my theories all wrong or you want to discuss further!

Why have you developed a ginger beard sir?
I'm feeling really indifferent to Leo Elster and as a huge Colin Morgan fan that's a big disappointment. He's really one note, all about saving the Synths against the Horrible Humans, which is I guess fair given his history but there's no vulnerability there either and that's necessary to give him some empathy. I'm probably overinvested (being a Colin Morgan fan) but the other synths are much more likeable at least. Apart from his memories, which he can never forget, I've forgotten why he's so different anyway from normal humans. He doesn't have the brain power that the other's display, so he acts and seems like an everyday guy with a huge chip on his shoulder.
I really do hope he progresses the rest of the series. I like it the ideas of the show anyway so I'll still watch Humans but I'm not rooting for Leo like the way I thought I'd be. Given the emotional range Colin is capable of showing I'm feeling a bit short changed.

I wonder if the relationship between Leo and Hester will be a romantic one. The synth pairs seem to be teaming up at a fair rate with Niska and Astrid (she's in episode 3, so that's going to linger) and Mia and Ed. There's NO WAY Leo will get together with Mattie. I know there's only supposed to be 4 years or so between them age wise but there's a huge gulf in every other sense. She's portrayed as such a teenager, often whiny and immature, ace hacker or not, while he's this man of action, who's had to grow up quickly. Plus Colin looks his real age, not the 22 or 23 Leo is and people might have a bit of a problem with a real life 30 year old with an on-screen 17/18 year old played by a 19 year old.
