Impermanence
As cliche as it sounds and as old as this quote gets... I'm just now coming into terms how temporary and constantly shifting the reality can be. Change is the only constant in this world. Nothing is ever really permanent. Just how Oasis' songs first line goes: "How many special people change? How many lives are living strange?" It's not only people who continuously change... places and situations.
I guess that's where the line 'live in the moment' and 'you only live once' came from. Enjoy the moment... enjoy the present because everything has an end to it. You won't really encounter the same situation in the future so just focus on the present and appreciate it.
That is the reason it's also important that our happiness comes from within... not because of any person, not because of our job, fame or wealth. Change is too inevitable and if any of these goes though a major shift... having a good attitude and a positive perspective will always help us better cope with it and stay being happy and content.
Tonight is one of those nights...
A night of dull monochromatic hues...
A night in grey shades, just in between...
A night when you're neither in heaven nor hell... purgatory as they say.
It's just one of those tiresome empty nights... and you're hoping you'd find the colours again.
You're hoping to be alive again.
Maybe, tomorrow you will be.
