there is a time to come and a time to go

Dear writers, and more important dear writing family.

I’m guessing most of you all could have feel this message coming. Most of you might have felt it coming for a long time~ I know I have been postponing it over and over again.

But I think the time has come…

The time to end the era we all know as Brielle. It’s with pain in my heart to say it’s time for Brielle institute to close it doors. Brielle has been a safe place for me for over a year, a place I called my family. But with the minimal activity and me lacking in time and motivation to just revamp everything to get people to write again and to get new writers. I decided it might be for the best for Brielle to close.

I’m sorry, sorry for letting this place die and not being able to get it back up and running like the good old days. Even though I tried my best I know I could have done a better job..!

I hope to write with all of you again. Be sure to let me know if you found a new place with great people were others might want to join as well. Ask me for my snapchat or follow my instagram to keep stalking me and so I can keep stalking you guys!

For the ones interested in continuing to write, know you can keep your chara’s inside of Brielle to keep writing with each other as well of outside of it. For example I will take my beanboi to a rp called Thornewood and the admins and I would love to see you guys there as well. It’s small, but it’s active. And again feel free to grab you Brielle bio and tweak it so it fits there!

Know your character is as much yours as it ever was Brielle’s of you picked up a pre-written bio. So feel free to take your bio to another place to keep on writing.

Is it just me or is the rp dying out

I won’t lie, we do seem to have hit on of those bad patches, yes. If you’re keen for us to keep going though, the best thing you can do honestly is post and stay as active as you can, maybe reach out to people and plot some things if possible. When more people are around again hopefully there’ll be a few events and things too. I’m hoping to do an activity check soon-ish and/or reach out to certain people to check where they’re at and if they’re coming back to us.

what would a child supervisor do?

A child supervisor would mainly look after the kids. Make sure they get in and out of bed on time, they are dressed properly, making sure they won’t hurt themselves, etc.

SOPHIE COX is a 29 year old PATIENT in the PSYCHIATRIC WARD. She has been diagnosed with ALCOHOLISM AND DRUG ADDICTION and she looks a lot like Shenae Grimes.

MAYBE THEY’RE HIDING

Sophie was a rebellious child. No matter what, she found a way to rebel and break the rules. This only magnified as she got older, her teen years full of alcohol and parties and even drugs. She and her best friends Sabrina Decker and Cassidy Jones were dubbed the party girls and they were known for their penchant for a good time full of binge drinking. There was also a lot of sex involved, usually drunk encounters that Sophie barely remembered after the fact, or regretted, but that was just who she was. Right? This was her life. She was one of the party girls through and through.

WE HOPE THEY ARE PLAYING A GAME

Unfortunately, as she grew older, Sophie never really grew out of her partying ways, seeming to be stuck in a perpetual adolescence, unable to let go of her wild teen years even when she was a grown woman, nearly thirty. One night, she and Sabrina (who she still hung out with (Cassidy had long since disappeared on them)), were in a club and there was booze, boys and blow... and Sophie suffered an overdose and, when she woke up, she was in a hospital bed being told she was being sectioned as she was a danger to herself and also to others. The night in question is a complete blur but apparently a lot of bad shit went down and Sophie constantly keeps trying to get Sabrina to tell her the details but her friend seems distant and reluctant to speak of it.

BUT THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING

Sophie didn’t expect to get to Brielle Institute and find her old friend Cassidy Jones working here. Of all people to be working in a psych ward with patients, Cassidy would not be the one she would choose. It’s bizarre and Sophie is determined to make Cass’s life a little difficult, finding ways to rebel against her. She’s a bit bitter that Cassidy wound up vanishing on them and being in here with no drugs and no alcohol is driving her more than a little crazy.
