Disappointed that on our final competition I didn't make it to the fourth stage for a chance to compete on this obstacle. I created this idea over two years ago and after countless times I have never gotten it. After all was said and done I gave it a try without a video and successfully completed it the first time. I got the chance to teach a class to kids near Chattanooga and decided to use it as an excuse to meet up with my ninjas there to train. Open gym at Crave Fitness is amazing. I spent my hour on building a #routine. Like always it needs some cleaning but having enough #poses, #transitions, and #endurance for a full two minutes is really exciting progress. I want to add another minute, clean it up and work on finding a song to perform it to. A still from my latest #kayaking video. I've got a rule that your can't call something a hobby until you have done it 5 times, and it only stays one of your hobbies if you have done it 5 times in the last six months. And now for one of my least favorite #obstacles in history. That's a 80 lb pack and this was a hot Atlanta day about an hour before it rained, meaning it was the highest humidity you could imagine. In the moment I was angry that I had to do this. That angry kept me going and produced this beauty of a face. But when I was done I knew I had accomplished something. One of my favorite #obstacles ever. Andrew and I had both beaten our respective opponents so this was an exhibition. The rules were that you had to get your opponent out of the circle, or at least one of that person's feet out. If each competitor goes out it is the "aggressor" for the roll, toss, or carry that wins. It was a hard fight and we both came out winners as he will be meeting up with the Chattanooga chapter of Team NASH when he returns to UTC. Not shown is the 5 seconds before the match when @docninja let the whole crowd know that Andrew was a national championship Greco-Roman wrestler, something I had no idea about until then. Always a pleasure going to @crave.fitness Fitness and learning from @jolenetheresa. I finally have a video showing Erin and Joyce that I can in fact point my toes. It's been really fun doing Lyra but I think that I will be slowing down not only on this but a good deal of my extra training as we focus on opening the gym. My new to me truck is in the shop today waiting on a transmission. I never look down on a chance to get outside and walk. Sadly my phone battery isn't staying alive long enough to play much pokemon go. So I instead have to be satisfied with finds like these.
