Computer-only activity. Timekilling phone behaviours are the mind killer. I got a guitar from an op shop almost two months ago and its been my new favourite thing to pass the time

I have to get back into writing proper analyses of media i can feel the muscles atrophying i need to read peer reviewed papers i need to write movie reviews my gofddddd. this is what going to the theatre almost every week is driving me to. once upon a time as a kid id be analysing media and going to the movies every saturday I NEED TO LOCK BACK IN

i've actually been holding myself to this!! ive got a letterboxd list called "BRIGHTON'S BIG BOUNTIFUL BINGE" and got about 300 movies on it majority that i have not seen. it's supposed to be a big catch up on a lot of well-known films that get referenced in popular culture or that i just hear get referenced a lot in social circles im a part of. it will probably take me all year to get through all of them and i am frequently adding new stuff to the list every week!
