If you can't stop Urbanshade, why not warn others? Why not comfort those harmed by it? Why not provide support for the people who escape it's pull?

"I... Don't have every answer you seek." She hesitates, tense.

"Sure, I... Do plenty with the team, but I'm not the person with all the knowledge on things. If we could do something, we would. It's best to treat it as ghost stories. Things of the past. The average Robloxian doesn't think people like 1x or John are real, in the state they are here. They're myths. Scary bedtime stories used to keep kids in line. It's best Urbanshade seems like one too. Because... What more is there to do about it?"

"Well as I can be!" She's.. Strangely cheerful, suddenly. It almost feels forced.

"Just, you know. Learning this is where my friends, family, and coworkers have disappeared to. And that I've joined them in perhaps something truly horrible, but hey! I'm.. Sure it could be worse!" She lies. It comes as easy as breathing. Best to ensure people she's alright, right?

Urbanshade. What is it?

She's silent a moment. Two. Three. She grabs at the paws of her scarf and tugs it gently. It's clear she's trying to think, trying to reason out how to respond. There's no backing out of it. Pretending she's ignorant. Not with that hesitance.

And she knows it.

"It's... Something we don't have say over. Believe me, some of us have tried. There's... A lot going on that physically can't be explained. But we... Can't touch it. What goes on there isn't for public eye. Forget about it. Drop the subject and walk away. You'll be safer if you just carry on like it's a ghost story."

Despite the words, it doesn't sound like a threat. It's a warning, more than anything.

We've been asking around about a certain corporation that is, allegedly, just a myth. Builderman definitely knew something, but he wouldn't answer. So, are all administrators inclined to lie, even when the beings before them obviously know the truth?

...

Oh. There's a moment where she's silent. Then she takes her shades off, and looks directly at you. Or perhaps even through you.

"If I was you, I'd walk away. I would drop the questions, and walk away. Things even we don't talk about are kept quiet for safety."

"But you won't. You never will. None of you know when to call it quits, do you?"

She gets up, and walks off out of the cabin, stopping amid the trees, somewhere secluded. Somewhere you'd really need to go looking for her actively to find. For someone new to the place, it's amazing she's found such a spot so effortlessly.

"Ask. But I make no promises in answering to a standard you like, or anything wholly truthful."

"Buddy what the fuck are you on about?" She huffs, fiddling with her necklace a little to ensure it remains flat. Admins? Swearing? Shocker... "If you want to know something, ask. Dancing around the truth is kinda useless. I don't know what the hell you're trying to hint at."

"Me? I'm... Still pretty out of the loop on what's going on around here." She shrugs, fixing her scarf idly as she wanders around to sit at one of the many tables, vaguely aware of a quiet, albeit familiar voice coming from upstairs. "Can't say I've heard anything neat, or worrying. Or.... Any variation thereof?"

"Oh what isn't there to say about him..."

She lets out a dreamy sigh, fiddling with her necklace for a moment, trying to keep herself on focus.

"I love him with all my heart. He's loud and brave, funny, kind, passionate about the things he loves, and just so... Much. In every way."

She hums softly, really just delighted to be given a chance to ramble, and it shows.

"Shed means the world to me. I love that man to the moon and back. If I really went on about him, we'd probably be here for hours. He's my husband, and I'm.. Honestly lucky to have found him. Shed's such a sweetheart... Maybe a bit of a dumbass sometimes, but he's mine and I love him for it."

BrightEyes doesn’t typically wear her proper wedding ring, and opts for a plain gold band instead, over worry of potentially losing any part of it, or breaking it while handling admin-related topics. Off the job, though? It’s her favourite thing, barring perhaps her feather necklaces. She will show it off when she can. It’s on her person right now, like the other necklace, but good luck getting her to show it off!
