a gentle hum escapes adelaide’s lips, in sync with the melody only she can hear through the headphones dangling in her ears as she peruses the bookshelves displayed in front of her in the store, searching for a specific title with care. with teddy’s twenty-third birthday right around the corner, all the brunette can think about is getting her brother and long-life companion the perfect gift to describe how proud she truly is him, after everything he has endure from the moment he was born into the savoy family. alas, the b&b owner has found herself in the bookstore, searching for a book she knows her brother has been searching for; her clock marking a little past fourty-five minutes since she entered the shop. after much consideration, she decides to approach one of the gentle and trained booksellers, an apologetic look as she walks towards the cash register, eyes glued to the phone as she searches for the title.
