kim namjoon, a truly beautiful soul

Ah what can I say... I want to say everything I can but it would take a series of novels to convey how you inspire me alone.

Everyone knows you’re intelligent, bright and sensible - but above all that, I love your heart and mind. The way your thoughts are strung, your way with words, how you sense other peoples’ hearts. You are so extremely special, and I’m so thankful to be able to look up to someone like you.

I recall in a past v-live you did a few years back, when you shared some wise words from your teacher in the past - about how in life we have so many thoughts and face countless challenges but we have to think of these things like the pruning of leaves and branches, and at the end of all this we’d grow to become a beautiful, strong and study tree. I will never forget those words and am applying it so much to my own life. It helps me get by hard times and constantly pushes me to be even better than I currently am. And I’m striving to be the best I can be each passing day.

Life is an intense puzzle, but with the right heart and mind, and people, you can get through anything and everything, so I look up to you and your wonderful stories. I remember you also mentioned that you felt such a burden because of your many thoughts, sometime you’d think they were pointless, and at the time I also felt the same way and somehow that fact alone made me feel okay. 

I just wanted to point out some of these from a long list of things that I sincerely look up to you for. Thank you so much for being you.

You’re the peace within the trees and the song with the breeze, the fact that your very essence lingers in nature inspires me. The way you translate your heart into your songs - every word, every beat, every tune, crafted by your inner being. I want to channel my true self in everything I do too, I want to grow, to learn, to become... the real me. 

So again I’m really so thankful to have you to look up to. You’ll always have my love and support, and here’s to another amazing year of growth and wisdom for you. Followed by even more. Let’s continue to grow together.

thoughts for surreal thoughts

i haven’t watched the video because of my feeble heart but thinking of jimin and jungkook crying at the sight of them standing before a massive crowd in one of the most prestigious arenas to exist - it’s beyond surreal. 

to think that a dream started years back would result to such a massive response like that; - thousands of little flashes of light signifying special souls that adore you;  - the sounds of endearing screams in earnest support and undying adoration. 

it’s insane. it’s just unimaginable and yet, there they stand - before an endless crowd of fireflies that spark their souls to constantly rekindle their fire. it’s special and so beautiful. it propels me yearn to turn my dreams and aspirations into goals and achieve them with all my being. i want to reach that surreal point. 

as a fan i always imagine it from their point of view and it easily brings me to tears. they’ve become such a massive influence where every breath they take is of great impact - and many can only dream of getting to their position. 

i’m amazed, proud, motivated and extremely inspired. i yearn for my dreams to turn into a reality as well - just like them.

dearest jimin,

here i begin; attempting to spill my heart out with words. words are beautiful but unfortunately they’re not enough to express my love for you, i love and appreciate you to that extent and it would be so amazing if you knew that.

i’ve been supporting you and the team for over two years now and i distinctly remember how i saw you in that fateful music video with striking deep red hair with that smug face, taking off your lanyard and glasses - never expecting my heart to fall for you [confession: being me, i didn’t want to admit that you were cute when i saw you] - admittedly, i called you extra and in told myself under my breath “if i decided to get into this(kpop) at all, you would be the last person i’d think to have the largest portion of my heart”. 

you proved me completely wrong.

you smiled, your beautiful smile, along with your eyes - i saw your heart and i fell for you in a split second, my heart just snapped and i fell in love with your heart.

as time passed, we grew together and i saw even more of your heart, i am truly amazed by the time i’ve been behind you because i truly see myself in you, everything i do, how i think, how i act, how i speak, even sometimes how i look - and it amazes me everyday, i’m proud and my heart is glad to have someone i can relate to almost entirely out there, being someone that a ton of people love so much and look up to as well. it would be great if you knew of me too, how amazing it would be if i could confide in you and ask for your advice with regards to life. i mean of course, life in entirely is a learning journey but it would be great to have someone likeminded to help me with regards to approaching life.

i’m proud of you, you’ve grown to become such a wonderful person and i’m so thankful that you exist - you’re so caring, loving, thoughtful, passionate, selfless, patient, understanding, strong, talented - you’re such a beautiful person and i hope to find someone like you in the future, someone who lives live with such passion, and someone pretty much similar to me as you are, it’s uncanny jimin, it truly is.

now i’d like to thank you, for being my role model, i see you - working tirelessly to have great stages, constantly working towards a standard that you are content with - and i clearly myself in you. you, along with the team, inspire me to work tirelessly to achieve my goals and to love what i’m doing.

my self esteem (specifically externally) in general has honestly been quite unstable and you’ve been a great contributor in helping me build and restore it. you help me feel beautiful, you make me feel beautiful and every time i see you and think of you i think to myself “dan you’re not that bad, you’re cute hehe - jimin’s gonna think you’re cute too ♡” and my heart is at ease! i’ve become more confident in the progress as i’ve grown! so thank you so much for helping this feeble heart become stronger even though you make my heart weak at the same time.

as time passes by, i wish for us to continuously grow together, other than my family and friends, i’ve ever felt this way about someone before, my love for you in unconditional and i only want the best for you - i wish for your true happiness, joy and for you to be constantly showered with love, just like the love you shower to everyone around you - you’re such a blessing to everyone jimin and i’m so grateful for you. ♡ i will continue expressing this in times to come.
