Quick update: I know it’s only the 5th however I like to keep you guys informed on when you can expect sims content; with that being said I will be out of town from the 28th till the 31st for a birthday trip for me and my sister since we’re both July birthdays with me being the 30th
I will pin this post until I get back from the trip.
I will be back on sims either August 5th or 6th seeing as I get back from my trip on a Friday and I’m not sure if I will want to play at all that weekend so it will be pushed to either Wednesday or Thursday.
And I will spend that time working on my love island stuff on Thursday; placing builds on Friday or Saturday; Sunday probably placing more builds and working on the intro cards.
Update: my mom is actually going to be joining me and my sister on this trip and we may end up staying one extra day since she will be driving up Wednesday and leaving Saturday
I think I’m just exhausted emotionally seeing as there had been no word from the dev team on another game I’m playing where they cancelled the character a week before his release and now everyone is boycotting the game and it has been 20 days with people constantly tweeting about the character to try and get the dev team to release the character; and we have heard nothing from them on any social media besides maintenance notices and it has already been 11 days past the character’s original release date.
I feel like every hour something changes; so one hour we get good news the next we get bad news and we’re back at square one and it is exhausting trying to guess what’s going to happen and how the dev team will respond.
I’m at the point with this whole thing where I just want everything to go back to how it was before they released any previews for the new character because at least we would be getting some communication from them and not just sitting in silence while the players have to fill in the gaps.
Idk if I will be on sims this week; I just don’t have the desire to even open my game. I will see how I feel on Sunday and if I have the desire to play even just to do makeovers for the final islanders and than make the cards.
I also need to place down lots for dates but that may wait till I actually start the challenge and do dates.
Update; I may decide not to play any sims until August when I get back from my birthday trip; I know it’s only the 17th but I don’t want to have to deal with updating my game and mods more than once in the month and I want to make sure all mods are working after the July 21st update so I will give them a week (post 21st update) and any mods not updated will be taken out.
I may or may not be on sims this weekend; my brother is in town with his wife and kids and I haven’t seen them in almost a year if not more; I will be back next week with making the last few islanders and getting to their intro cards.
I bought moonlight peaks today; so probably will be spending time playing that for the next few days; hope to play sims again on Sunday.

Last update about sims this week: I ended up going back to the condo again today so there will be no sims this week and potentially won’t be on sims till Thursday or Friday
Another update for sims this week: I don’t think I will be on sims Sunday I honestly don’t feel like dealing with an update or not being able to use the gallery; I know I should spend time doing other things than constantly being on twitter waiting for answers that possibly won’t come for another week at most and I think a lot of people on twitter in the community I’m in are having the same sentiment of wanting some actual communication from the company in order to know if there is a chance to bring the character into the game or if there is no chance and the community is wasting their time and energy on something that won’t change.
I at least got out today and went to a condo my sister rented for a Fourth of July weekend trip and spent some time in the pool and will be going back tomorrow for the actual Fourth of July.
On Sunday I may try to spend some time working on the love island cards I have yet to do from last week because I’ve been spending all my time on twitter if not watching love island.
Update: as of June 6th the company has gone 5 days with no communication and it’s been 7 days since the cancellation and the global boycott; people are suggesting either they announce something on the 8th or they stay silent till the 12th which I honestly can’t deal with another week of silence and not knowing if they are considering bringing the character back or not.
Probably no sims this week except possibly Sunday when I continue with love island; I have just had a terrible week and I want to chill out and not deal with having to update my game or sort through mods but I also don’t want to play offline.
I am just tired from a bunch of drama in another fandom I’m in that I just don’t feel like doing anything.
Update: I will see about being on sims Sunday but from what I’m seeing on twitter this stuff could go on till Monday or Tuesday and at this point I just want some actual answers on what’s going to happen from the company themselves because twitter is filled with misinformation.
Here is what’s going on:
June 22: the game released a teaser for a new Love Interest the reactions were mixed with a lot of CN fans not liking the character due to him looking “too western” and the fact that they wanted the company to focus on the other Love interests stories and other issues with the game.
June 25: they released the trailer for the New Love Interest with a lot more people warming up to him however there was still the CN side that didn’t like him (some did; Most didn’t)
June 28th: they released the livestream for the new update mind you it didn’t have much content and they didn’t show much besides the New Love Interest stuff and a picture stating that the people begging for new stories of the older Love interests to stay tuned to their social media pages.
The CN fans were already upset about the New Love interest and their issues not being addressed so they decided to Boycott the game. However a minority of the CN fans took it a step too far and would show up at the headquarters and even went looking into the side stories in the game for anything that would get the game into legal trouble to ensure the cancellation of the new Love interests which they did find the numbers 0731 in a side story which had been there since April however this side story had to do with one of the original love interests but they took it and ran which caused even more outrage; the company did switch the number immediately after this unfolded and issued an apology.
June 30: the company put out a statement that the new love interest was supposedly cancelled so there would essentially be nothing in the upcoming version except for some minor stuff which the fans don’t really use and vowed to continue with the original 5 Love interests and stated that two of the main love interests people were asking for main stories on would get them in august and November respectively.
Which I feel like none of this would have happened if they had just put out a yearly roadmap stating when the fans can expect new stories even separating the year into quarters and stating what quarters the fans can expect what stories.
As of now they privated the videos of the New Love interest took down the twitter banner with him in it and took him off the official website; however they posted his theme song on Spotify and there have been a lot of global players making their voices heard and trying to get the new love interest back because majority of us were interested in him; so I’m hoping they bring him back because I did fall for him immediately when I saw the teaser only to be crushed by his cancellation.
They have two petitions with a little under 300,000 signatures added up and they are continuing to loose followers on their global socials along with getting the reviews getting lower due to the company pandering to the crazy CN fans that decided to do all those crazy things.
It has only been 2 days but I just want actual answers and not rumors and misinformation and they haven’t said much besides some in game furniture were getting and a rerun of a previous card. Even just a small update stating they are working on the situation or not would be fine with me.
Right now I am working on the cards I haven’t gotten to for the other sims I made last week because I had spent this entire week trying to fix my sleep schedule.
Tyras house so far; this was all she could afford to do along with bringing most of her furniture from her apartment.
but with that i am done for the day and i will be online on sunday making more islanders for my love island series so no pictures but i will be on.
I have moved Tyra to her new home and am now trying to decorate it as well as a bakery
selling more cakes because that is what makes the most money and i need tyra to own her bakery soon.
selling the stuff she baked while freya is spending the next few days with Axel due to their shared custody.
Tyra refused to seperate amicably and now they both dislike each other.
I also had them set up shared custody of freya; but with that I am done for today and will be back again possibly tomorrow.
Axel is asking tyra for a seperation because they are never romantic anymore and tyra spends most of her day selling the stuff she bakes until all hours of the night.
