This could very well be my own pretentious artist project but I'm trying to use light to convey kind of a symbiosis between strength and weakness, confidence and insecurity, and of course light and darkness. This year one of my missions is to add more emotion to my portraits and one of the most interesting ways to do that to me is to play with light. A "spotlight" if you must

I'd saved the photo to use as a background (is that ok?), and did a google image search (my first one!) to find you so I could tell you how instantly I fell in love with that picture. It may be the stark white face surrounded by all that greenery, but it grabbed me instantly ❤️
