The date for the Science March on Washington (and like a billion other places) has finally been announced and everything about it looks lit
On Wednesday, the March for Science Twitter account posted an announcement stating that the march would take place on April 22 ā which also happens to be Earth Day. Hereās everything you need to know to make sue you show up in force no matter what.
California has become the first U.S. state to make lessons on sexual consent a requirement at its high schools. The state was also the first nationwide to require colleges and universities to adopt the affirmative consent policy during campus sexual assault investigations.
āThe new law mandates all school districts that have made health a graduation requirement to lecture students about sexual violence prevention and affirmative consent starting next year. It also urges state education officials to include those topics to their high school health curriculum, Lisa Leff of The Washington Post wrote. The measure did not receive any opposition in the Legislature, and even nearly received a unanimous bipartisan backing.ā

Or that violent games canāt also be silly:
Donāt think that playing the game competitively ruins the fun:
Or that dreary, colourless, post apocalyptic games hold any less story value:
Just because a game or playstyle isnāt good, or beautiful to you, doesnāt mean its any less valuable to someone else who does appreciate it. At the end of the day, it makes someone happy, and thats the greatest value of any art form.

I donāt think I ever shared this story so Iāll share it now. By far THE best interaction I had while working at GameStop was when this older woman, probably in her mid to late 70ās, came in asking for games she could play that were similar to The Witcher 3 because she had completed the entire game, despite hating the game mechanics. When I asked her what she liked about the game that made her want to finish it, she looked me straight in the eye and deadass said, āGeralt.ā So basically this elderly woman competed every single mission in The Witcher 3 solely because of how hot she found Geralt. I died. And set her up with a copy of Uncharted after she gave Nathan Drake her Hot Boyā¢ seal of approval.
