Despite the change of location, Bri hadn’t changed her routine, she still got up in the early hours of the morning for a run, and then again late at night. Spending most of her time at the hospital meant that she didn’t often get time to socialise outside of work, but she often saw people when she was out running and offered them a bright smile and a short hello. Today was no different.
The woman ran along the beach towards her house, briefly looking down at the ground beneath her feet, not noticing the person a few feet in front of her, colliding with them suddenly. When she had gathered herself again, she caught sight of them. “I am so sorry,” she quickly apologised. “I wasn’t looking where I was going.”
