It blows my mind how unlikeable Will and Kate have become since Charles's coronation. Despite being separated from Harry and Meghan, and having overwhelmingly positive press coverage, they have become freaking caricatures of out-of-touch rich people. Just some rapid-fire things I gleaned from THIS article:

Moving into a larger, 8-bedroom mansion is now painted as "downsizing" by The Times. Literally using a word that has the opposite meaning of what they're doing.

Another justification is that Kate had cancer, so she should be able to move into a new Georgian mansion for a "new start". Something I have noticed is how KP brings up Kate's illness to justify things (new homes, missed work, vacations) that would otherwise look bad. KP has no problem weaponizing her illness to frame her as more sympathetic and not deserving of reasonable criticism. Fergie has also had cancer (twice!) does that mean she's entitled to stay at Royal Lodge with Andrew and behave however she likes? Kate and William's choice to buy a new mansion might have been motivated by her sickness, but it's not absolved by her sickness. It's still out of touch and extravagant regardless.

The no "live-in" staff is stupid, and you are stupid if you believe it. They evidently still have staff, regardless of whether or not they "live in".

We don't know how much in taxes William pays, what he writes off, or what practices he employs to pay the right amount, but we're suddenly supposed to believe he is so conscious of taxpayer money when it comes to buying another home for himself and his family. This grown man needs a new house to "think" as if any action is happening up there to begin with.

They are appealing to the British middle-class sensibilities by owning six properties, working less than 1/6th of the year, and vacationing multiple times each season, sometimes on multimillionaire mega yachts.

The monarch not living in London, but instead in a secluded rural estate with far less public accessibility and visibility, is actually Bad. There is a reason British monarchs have mainly lived in London.

How can we trust the media to report on these two accurately when they can't even be criticized? Their laziness and entitlement is getting more brazen with each year because they feel they can basically do whatever they want. And, yeah, I think they can.

The final section to this piece is extraordinary. I suspect it will be quickly suppressed by the Firm, therefore I'm screenshotting as well as excerpting:

Before I give the transcript, note: This entire section is unsourced, meaning the Telegraph is essentially offering up its editorial voice to say they believe this is true. Meaning: they heard it from Harry directly.

This is a naked threat from Harry to tell what he knows unless security for his family is restored. Transcript, emphasis mine:

"For all of the bad tempered interviews and settling of scores, the Duke wants peace with his family and peace with the press. But he knows there has been too much conflict, too much water under the bridge.

"So much has changed in these intervening years. His father has cancer, but the lack of trust in the Sussexes means that he does not know how much time he has left.
