It's about damn time...
Time after time, I told myself and other people that I would finally lose the weight; and time after time, I managed to fail. I never really wanted it. I never cared enough about my body or my life to get healthy and stay healthy. I trained with a trainer for 13 months and spent over $7000. I started at 209lbs and ended at 204lbs. The lowest weight I got during that time was 199.5. I never ate right. I am sure this was frustrating for her too. This January, I weighed 200lbs and couldn't fit into my wedding dress. I realized that I had 5 months until my wedding and needed to actually do something about my weight before I get married and move to Ohio. I didn't want to carry this weight (literally and figuratively) into my marriage. My trainer told me early January she was leaving her job to take a new kind of job in her field. She suggested a new trainer to work with. I was nervous at first but it's March 1st now and I weigh 185lbs, I have lost 3% body fat. My new trainer has me eating a strict eating plan and food logging every day. He checks my food logs and I don't cheat or lie about it. The results are showing and I am so proud of myself. I think about last Thanksgiving, when I weighed 209 again and I tell myself how happy I am that I will never have to go back to that again. So here is my journey. I post motivational, uplifting things that help me get through the rough parts.
