Old Biography (wow)

Brittany Renee was born on May 10th in Florida. At the age of three Brittany set foot on a trampoline, and has not stopped moving since then. After a decade of having a trampoline she has had a skill of doing many different types of flips on her trampoline. From the age of five to ten years old she took up gymnastics. Bars and floor were her specialty, and in which her highest score was when she received a 9.15 on bars.

After taking Gymnastics, Brittany got into tap, jazz, and clogging at a local studio. She took there for almost five years. Before leaving the dance studio her mom signed her up for a summer program at their local theatre. Missoula’s Children’s Theatre was in town for the week and Brittany made her debut on stage in their production of “Rumplestiltskin”. Since then she has loved performing on stage and has been in numerous shows since then. During May and June of 2009 Brittany was in “The Wizard of Oz” as the Lead Jitterbug (which is a featured dance role) and as a part of the ensemble. Some of her other credits are: Seussical (Bird Girl) High School Musical (Aquafina) Thoroughly Modern Mille (Stenog/Ensemble) The Music Man (Dancer/Townsperson) and Hello, Dolly (Ensemble). After being Lily in Annie Jr. in 2001, Brittany knew for sure that this is what she wanted to do for the rest of her life. She says “It’s my passion in life and I want to make my mom proud.” In September of 2001 her mom had passed away, and Brittany was only 14 years old. “I love to perform and I give great thanks to my mom for getting me into dance and theatre. I remember watching some home videos and hearing my mom saying, “Brittany you’re such a ham.” I was always being so dramatic and I think that’s when my mom realized that I could possibly do well on the stage and try to get some of that energy out of me,” Brittany says with a smile. As of May 2011 Brittany is a licensed cosmetologist (which includes make up, hair, nails & skin). She also has been in a very loving and strong relationship with a great guy named Will and she cares greatly much about him and knows that he loves her too. Brittany definitely wants to return to the theatre this coming new season at her local theatre and audition. She has missed it immensely and cannot wait to return to the stage.
