Continuing to watch the Bleach bount arc, some things I found funny/interesting/cute:
the shoten family bullying Renji at the dinner table lol poor guy even Yoruichi was like "aren't you guys doing too much". Bonus for the omake where Kisuke and Jinta stay up to catch Renji trying to eat the leftover rice. Like dad like son...
Also funny that Yoruichi is in cat form at the dinner table (not hungry ?), and then when Renji rushes out in the middle of the night she's hanging out with Kisuke (still wearing his day clothes) in what is presumably the living room. Do they not sleep
Renji sleeps with his hair in a braid
It's a shame they cut the scene where Renji sits in front of the shoten tho because it would have been more believable than "hey Renji is a lieutenant but also stationed in Karakura for some reason", But oh well, it's a filler arc
Also Renji raiding Orihime's fridge and finding only condiments, some milk and a fish stick 😭 somebody take this poor guy out to eat
Overall lots of shoten moments like Kisuke and Tessai sitting down to enjoy their tea together only for the nakama to sprint inside their house. Kind of made me think of that other filler ep where uratess hang a sign saying "out for lunch!". I wonder if they go out to sample restaurants together
Yoruichi and Soifon go on a mission together - makes me think Kubo should have made them fight as a duo way more
Yoruichi stays at the shoten in cat form except in ep 69, where she sits with everyone to explain the bount situation, and then when she stands outside with Kisuke questioning him about the reishi censors he put in the mod souls. Really liked the animation style in that one bit + black hair Yoruichi
Orihime and Rukia's reunion is soooooo sweet my babygirlllsss ;-; Orihime is so happy to see Rukia again and suggests they try new cafes/food shops. so cute
Also Rukia speaking to their classmates in that hime voice is never not funny
The art style they use in this arc makes the scenes where only the Bounts appear look like scenes taken out of the 2008 Devil May Cry anime, which is a bit odd
