Thick, Lush Old Growth Redwood Forest

Less than 5% of the old growth redwoods survived the human massacre. This grove was supposed to be logged 100 years ago and was one of the first places purchased with private money to save for future public use. I’m so thankful for that foresight, but sad at the shortsightedness that killed the other 95%.
