Jeri: [She sighs, shaking her head.] Trevor said that it wasn't looking too good...and my mom's basically shut down. I'm pretty sure Trevor's putting his internship on hold so he can be home to take care of them and I just....I don't know.

Jeri: [She comes inside, setting Elena's bag on his desk.] No....no I'm not. [She's quiet, looking down to the baby for a few minutes.] My dad has cancer.
Brody: [He closes the door behind them, following them into the room. He hears her mention she's not okay, and he's silent to allow for more explanation] Jeez.. I'm sorry to hear that.. that's awful.. Do they think he'll be ok?

Jeri: Jail has made you smarter. [She sends the text quickly before gently knocking on the door.] Okay...you're gonna hang out with your daddy for an hour or two...and I'm gonna call your grandpa...and Mommy's going to figure it out okay? I promise. [she whispers to the baby in her arms, rocking Elena gently.]
Brody: [He smirks at her text, getting up once he hears the knock on the door. He gets up, heading towards the door, pulling it open, and motioning for Jeri to come inside] Are you alright? For the record, at least. [He questioned]
