Marks the end of an era

This year was by far one of the hardest year. Seeing loved ones in severe pain and not having a damn clue what to do to help, changed me. Some left us too soon, others fighting a battle with no certainty of survival. Things got so bad that I remember falling asleep thinking, “g-d can things get any worse? I’m sorry, please help stop this”. Some would say to me “tomorrow’s a new day”. I would think to myself, NO tomorrow is not a new day, tomorrow is just a continuation of today, yesterday and the day before. Not feeling any sort of stability and security nearly destroyed me.

What did get me through were those special people, reminding me that there’s light at the end of every tunnel. It might be a long and bumpy ride but the light will eventually come. You have the blessing of life (some don't get that), don't  take that for granted. Never give up, always try to stay strong for yourself and others around you. You’re a warrior in your book but a chapter for people around you. And always remember, in order for the light to shine so brightly the darkness must be present.

For the past month, I've heard time and time again that I need to get different scans to detect if I possibly have cancer. There's so many people in my family who had suffered or is suffering from this disgusting disease. Seeing them hurting pains me so deeply that I don't know if I can handle anymore bad news. All I'm trying to say is.... if there is a chance I do, I don't think I have anymore fight in me.

You got to learn how to vibe alone. You can't live your life being dependent on other sources of energy. You have the ability to be self sufficient so tap into yourself once in a while.

Take a shower, wash off the day. Drink a glass of water. Make the room dark. Lie down and close your eyes. Notice the silence. Notice your heart. Still beating. Still fighting. You made it, after all. You made it, another day. And you can make it one more. You’re doing just fine.
