River is actually an orphan. He has no idea who his birth parents are, but his adopted family did their best. Although, he was not entirely heartbroken when he moved to Sydney to go to school, as it meant more freedom.

River actually sometimes appreciates when people mistake him for a female. It makes him feel pretty.

Sydney, Australia. A lovely coastal destination populated by a variety of people. River was not one of those staying for long, but he did remember quite fondly the days of when he did regularly roam the streets. Well. Sort of fondly. It was better than where he lived NOW, anyway.

The tall, thin man sighed softly as he finished his little protein shake, tossing it into a bin and heading out with his little ‘gifts’ when he noticed some odd fellow with a cowboy hat. Sure, there were colorful folks here and there, but this one stuck out like a sore thumb.
