Now, this is something special. Brandon Flowers (of the Killers), Father John Misty and Local Natives all get together out in the desert to talk about their love for the Man in Black and offer renditions of his music. Covering Johnny Cash is basically a rite of passage for any musician, so it's saying something that they each turn in admirable renditions. Flowers is joined by Dawes, and Misty does his own take on the Johnny/June dynamic, but best of all might be Local Natives—who sound the least "Cash-y" of the three but are absolutely spine-tingling in their achingly pretty melody. This is a must-watch.
