I would like to let everyone know, that going into this game, I had one goal: Suplex the train.

Mission. Effing. Accomplished.

Sabin just makes the game super easy, I guess. He got Rising Phoenix and I just 1 shot whole mobs. I mean, with the crossbow spam, it was still the beginning of the game. But I’ve fought a few bosses now and I’m still one-shotting whole encounters? At this point, I don’t know what any of the random monsters do, what damage they deal, what weak points they have. Everything dies in 1 hit. Which is a shame, cuz some of them look REALLY cool.

I did it again! Healing potions right before a recovery spring! Bah! On the plus side, I got the only person that matters on my team. SABIN! BLITZ BABY BLITZ!

First game over on Vargas. AND I just found out that the quicksave feature does not save your data if you party wipe. So, I just got dropped back to 45 minutes into the game since all my saves since then were quick saves, not ‘official we are actually saving your data’ saves.

Edgar seems way too strong with his aoe crossbolt attack. No mana, just spam it.

Makes me think he’ll be dropping out of the party soon or something. Kind of like a crutch character to help you get some levels on other characters. OR MAYBE NOT GUESS I’LL FIND OUT

The old ‘Moving castle that can bury itself under the desert’ trick. Works every time.

AHAHA! Edgar’s sprite does an Edgeworth finger waggle! Yessssssss, I like this guy already. I hope he doesn't end up betraying me or something.

My starting party is a mage and a thief. That is like the worst front line ever. Thank goodness there’s nothing of significant damage in the first area. 

Also, Moogles seem kinda cool. Tiny bears with wings that carry flails and spears. I can get behind this. Also, I’ll need the proper pronunciation of “Kupo.”

Ok, this is going to irritate me for the whole game. First (MINOR) gripe: His sprite looks SO COOL and his headshot when he talks is SO DUMB! Get that dumb hat off and put your headband back on, you zany thief.

Intro time

To start off, We have 2 generic soldiers of questionable morals escorting a female with green hair. I have a feeling I do not need to worry too much about leveling these soldiers.

Next I show up to a town, start wrecking everything, one-shot style with unlimited mana and healing. Best get some bonus exp on this green haired chick while it’s easy pickings.

My only regret from the intro area is screwing up the fight with the Electric Snail thingy. I queue’d all my attacks JUST as it went in the shell. KO’d ol’ Green Hair and left me with one soldier and a long, drawn out fight. No EXP’s for her from a boss fight : /

A little further in aaaaaaand the soldiers are gone. gg. R.I.P in pieces. Now I get to ponder what an Esper is. Reminds me of Wildstar (Espers, that is).

The Start

I will be playing final fantasy 6 because some dude said it’s pretty much the best game ever. So, I thought I’d start a new tumblr so I can share my thoughts as I’m playing through. Once I figure out how to quickly transfer pictures, I’ll add those too so the posts look really cool and stuff, I don’t know.
