i’ve watched TAR since 31 and this is the first season where i’ve missed an episode and im not really dying to watch it. in fact im currently two episodes behind and have no real desire to catch up. which is sad cause TAR is a really cool show. this cast just doesn’t do it for me
I feel you! I've started to fall out of love with the show, which is a shame since I literally grew up with TAR - it has such a special place in my heart as the show that got me into watching Reality TV in the first place.
I think ever since TAR33 happened, the show's been in a groove where everything is... dumb? While I still think 33 was a solid season due to the cast, there was definitely a shift that happened. The legs are easier and shorter, there's less drama and more narration, and it's all just cringe. It's like I'm watching fucking TAR Canada (which has been godawful since this shift happened during their fifth season).
34 they were actively editing out the drama and it was boring as shit, 35... I'm not impressed so far. I was promised back to basics TAR and it's not that at all thus far - only Morgan & Lena and Anna Leigh are delivering mess and then there's everyone else who feels like the edit is deliberately protecting or making as boring as possible.
I did like the previous episode and I'm hoping I'm proven wrong with this second half because otherwise, if it's going to be like this from here on out... I'm sorry but this show can choke and die.
