We'd done 2 abseils when the rain got real heavy causing the river to rise and flow FAST. After a hectic day exploring #ometepe on an ATV (quad bike), we pulled into a place to take in the sunset and saw a good photo op. I thought I'd share the 📸 with the couple 🇨🇦... We got chatting and next thing you know we've extended our time in Nicaragua and sharing an Airbnb with them beside a beautiful volcanic lagoon. Good travel story, eh!?
