Things with Marley were, interesting to say the least, Puck really liked her but even though it had been six months since ending things with Mercedes he wasn’t ready to make the leap to being in a relationship; that didn’t mean that he was planning to stop spending time with her any time soon though. 

The night prior he’d made the cold walk to grab food and head to her apartment and once there he didn’t plan to leave, and it wasn’t just because of the cold, he really enjoyed spending time with her. They spent the next morning and afternoon together, laying in bed, talking, not doing much of anything. Marley decided to take a shower and Puck decided that was his cue to brave the arctic tundra that was now New York and grab some food from the bodega on the corner. 

He put on as many layers as possible before running out of the apartment and to the store. Looking through the aisles he decided on chicken and a few different vegetables figuring he could make something work with whatever else Marley had at her place. 

Back at the apartment he was hard at work on dinner when Marley came out of the bedroom. “For both of us”, he replied with a chuckle. “It’s nothing fancy, just sauteed chicken and veggies.” Puck turned his attention back to the stove to avoid burning the green beans that where getting a slight tinge of brow in spots as they cooked along with the oil and garlic.
