My next couple moves on the E30 were slow but sure. I found a mk3 gti spoiler laying around the garage and found they fit exactly into the rear windshield! So I mounted it up and was very pleased with the fitment! Anyway, when I purchased the car it had a majority of front end damage. So I pulled off the valence and what was left of the front end with the help of some friends. Finally got around to finding a new bumper and yellowed the headlights, also with fresh kidney grills and the front end was back to looking good. Along these couple slow months I was fixing little things, I was also stockpiling parts.....

This was the first day I picked up my first BMW, my 1986 325es I picked up off a good buddy for $800, ran and drove with no brakes whatsoever, muffler dragging on the ground, all kinds of fun issues to deal with.  He also left me about everything he had put in the car which was pretty funny to lay out. Jumper cables, replacement parts, coolant, oil, headrests, fun stuff.  Car came with a universal racing seat installed, and a short shifter were the only aftermarket installs I could find, oh and a radio.  The long progress had begun. Also still owned my rusty cabrio in this picture, and keeping that on the road took priority.

My goal for starting this Tumblr is to document all of my future in-progress cars that I love dumping my money into.  I take part in a lot of automotive adventures, and I’ve recently wanted to showcase what I’m doing so that people can have inspiration, and possibly help them with their builds! My first post is my favorite pictures of my past Volkswagen endeavors.  Starting with my 1989 mk2 Jetta on Porsche cookie cutter wheels, my 1997 276 cammed rusty mk3 Cabrio, the same Cabrio before it was rusty, and my first VW, mk3 VR6 Gti.  These cars were my hard learning cars, with no automotive experience.  These are the cars that got me to where I am today.  And I would love to have everyone of these back.
