"Am I not?" Merida asked with a laugh. Then, she rose up to stand on her knees and tossed her head back to ‘roar’ before bouncing back down onto all fours and taking large, exaggerated bear-steps towards the boy. "Come one, one wee bite!"
She was likely ruining her dress (wouldn’t be the first time), but this was already more fun than she’d had in days, and it was a real struggle to keep her ‘growls’ from turning into giggles as she raised one hand to attack, fingers curled into makeshift claws.
Anders took several steps back to match her large strides. He couldn’t stop himself from smiling; this was the only playmate he’d had in months, and she was probably more fun than Elias would be anyway.
"No way!" He yelled, pointing his sword at her again. "I’m not gonna let you!" His smile widened, forming a grin on the little prince’s freckled face.
