My name is Nathan Dayspring Askani’son Summers, but you may call me Brother Nathan. I am the peacekeeper of my world. There is no war. No violence. No weapons. No homelessness. No hunger. No billionaires. No prejudice. And no TV. In my universe, we prefer expanding the mind through considered thought and exploration of scholarly concepts.

Suffering is a thing of the past. Now that I can take care of everyone.

Yes, I used to be violent myself. I used to be a mercenary, killing people for money. But I have eschewed that lifestyle in favour of one where we can all live together in peace. Which is all I wanted.

So join me on the peace train, please. It’s not too late to throw your hatred down and give peace a chance. Because after all, what’s so funny about peace and love and understanding?

This is Nathan Summers the Jesus figure from Earth-58161 who calls himself “Brother Nathan”. He’s specifically from Cable and Deadpool #16. What little canon we get from him fleshed out with headcanon.

His powers are telepathy, and telekinesis, but because his powers are so strong, he can do other feats too like flying, hovering, teleporting etc. He is also in possession of the only weapon in his universe, his psimitar, which is practically just ceremonial now. He’s very big on peace and intellectual stimulation.

It’s most common to use Staying Alive or Another One Bites the Dust (depending on your sense of humour) to do CPR to, but did you know there’s many other songs you can do CPR to? As long as a song is between 100-120 bpm, you can do CPR to it!

Jesus Christ. Some people need to realise this was all supposed to be fun. There’s nothing fun about harassing people. That’s only gonna want to make people stop RPing.

People really need to do better.

I understand there was a series of bombing attacks in another universe carried out by a terroristic anti-mutant organisation.

My heart goes out to those who have been affected and, though I am in another universe, wish to offer some help and advice.

First, if you are a victim, report everything to the police. Yes, I know they’re useless, but it helps to have a paper trail. Seek good legal counsel and document everything.

Second, do NOT seek retribution. Let the authorities handle everything. Instead, focus on helping others. Make meals for people who have lost their homes, or offer to assist in the clean up of the place of worship that I heard was attacked. Document everything you see and/or hear. This will help much more than pointless acts of revenge, and it can also be seen as a non-violent act of protest against the group. Instead of going after the Friends of Humanity, become a friend of humanity.

Third, because it’s so important, document everything. And I mean everything. You need evidence in your favour. And “he said, she said” can only take you so far. Take photos of damage, write down what you hear before you forget - ideally, take recordings, with permission. An entire criminal case could depend on one photo.

And last, do not lose hope. You are stronger than what has happened. Come together and show everyone that you will not be torn apart by hate. Build bridges with your fellow humans, mutants, super-powered individuals - everyone. Build that community. You’re going to need it going forwards no matter what happens.

I would like to take some time out of my busy schedule to wish all Indigenous people in America a happy Indigenous Peoples Day (International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples is August 9th).

Today is a day to honour Native American people and tribes who were violently exploited by settlers, reflect on their mistreatment, recognise their rights (Land Back), as well as to celebrate the wonderful diversity there is within the Native American tribes cultures.

I am honoured to have many Native American friends who have done so much to help others.

Cristopher Columbus, however, was not a role model and certainly does not deserve a day in his honour.

In light of this spate of anti-mutant hatred on this site (which I myself have unfortunately been a victim of), I would like these anonymous commenters to thoroughly examine themselves and why they get pleasure from hurting other people. Why they want to take time out of their day to tear people down instead of building people up.

Why not say "good job" instead of typing out slurs? It takes less time and effort.

Drown the hate with love. Treat people with compassion.

Yesterday was the International Day of Non-Violence, not to be confused with the International Day of Peace. Peace is different from non-violence. It is also different from pacifism.

Peace is a state of calm, harmony, and tranquility, but can also be described as an absence of war, in that instance, there can indeed be conflicts within peace.

Non-violence is a way of achieving peace. By dismantling root causes of conflict, promoting justice, education, human rights, and equality for all.

Pacifism is a stance against all violence and war. It is a belief. All pacifists are non-violent, but not all people who employ non-violence are pacifists.

I’m aware that poverty, wage theft, fear, hunger, and greed are causes of conflict in other worlds that don’t have me to care for them. But I believe that when people take care of others and approach others with compassion, others can change the world with non-violence and make it more peaceful.

Let us welcome in October with love and understanding towards our fellow men - and women. And not forget about the Halloween parties.

Halloween parties are not only fun, but they promote unity and togetherness as we join for a shared experience.

Be kind to trick or treaters, regardless of age. If a teenager comes to your door, still offer them some candy. Or a nicknack, or a sticker. Just as you would a child. You are never too old for Halloween fun. And something else to keep in mind are allergies, intolerances, and dietary restrictions. Some children cannot eat things other children can. Or maybe they cannot eat at all. So a little bit out of your way to accommodate and make the day special for someone else - might be the only person to think of someone else’s needs that day. The colour of allergy awareness is teal.

Be kind to women, and offer to help them home from parties if they appear drunk. They may not be, they may have had their drink spiked. A terrible act. If you suspect this, please, call the authorities and report it. Especially if it is a friend or a family member or someone you know. Far too many people don’t speak out about this or excuse it. Do not be one of those people. And even if someone is drunk, people are allowed a good time and/or are deserving of help.

So be kind and considerate to all this spooky season and let us all strive to make Halloween fun and accessible for everyone!

Today is National Love People Day.

National Love People Day

I would like to extend all my love to everyone on my Earth, and everyone on other Earths who are fighting for peace, acceptance, and understanding. People who want peace and love. And do their best to share it with other people.

To transgender people.

To LGBTQIA+ people.

To women.

To men.

To teenagers.

To kids.

To disabled people.

To mutants.

To baseline humans.

To people of all backgrounds, all races, ethnicities, and nationalities.

To refugees.

You are all important. And you are all loved. Nobody’s life is worth more than anyone else’s life. And nobody’s life is worth more than anyone else’s comfort.

Everybody deserves love and respect no matter who they are.

It is not your responsibility to teach anybody about your circumstances, but do try to remember that other people have their own circumstances they do not wish to teach you about either. This is why it is better to keep calm and meet in the middle for a serious discussion with considered thought, respect, and mutual empathy.

Unless the other person is a Nazi. They’re not going to have any empathy and are wholly incapable of considered thought and respect. I’m a mind reader, I’d know.

I may be benevolent and peaceful, but fuck those guys.
