Chiron deals with masochism. Which is just another form of pain. Especially in aspect to Venus, or involved with the 5th or 8th house, or even aspects to Mars, there is a tendency for sexual masochism.
Life on earth is terrifying. We’re all just subject to our karmas.
The 7th house is just as public as the 10th house. If the Ascendant/1st house is you, the Descendant/7th house is everyone else, the public. The 10th house rules your public image and status. The 7th house is how you actually relate to and interact with the public.
Neptune isn’t your dreams. Neptune is dissolution of the ego. Wherever it’s placed in the chart shows where you’ve had to learn selflessness and approach things spiritually there. Dreams are about ego needs and desires, and are actually ambitions. Which is more linked to other ego energies in your chart. Everyone talking about Neptune in this way is just complicating your understanding of it. Neptune is oneness energy. Blissful divine union. No sense of self or ego. Dreams and desires are things our ego crave. Neptune demands ego death.
People with planets in square or opposition to Neptune might struggle to be selfless. They can still have an element of compassion but the planet’s ego needs are in tension with the Neptune energy that demands complete dissolution of the ego.
Sometimes a planet crossing over your midheaven is just someone posting your name in the work group chat. Astrology shows the smallest mundane events and not always big events.
The 5th house is the height of self expression and being pushed to express yourself and come out with something. Being 3rd from the 3rd (bhavat bhavam - Vedic concept) its definitely linked to saying something and communicating - a form of self expression. 8th from the 10th, dramatic transformation of public image and what you come out with (another form of self expression) and 10th from 8th (culmination of being pushed to the brink to transform - which pushes you to express yourself). Their public images, reputation and status can dramatically transform and change in ways that would be akin to having Plutonian energy around the Midheaven. They are perceived as intense.
The 5th house demands that we ‘come out’ with something. And it’s literally coming after the 4th which is the most hidden part of the chart, where its darkest, representing how its about emerging from a period of darkness and introspection too. Also I find it quite ironic that it’s about coming out and also the 5th is linked with sexuality where people have to ‘come out’ or even children - where children ‘come out’ of the womb and into the world. But it’s our artistic creations, which can actually just be about existing because not everyone is supposed to be a literal artist or even parent.
5th house people can be labelled as dramatic and intense (and often their lives are) because of this constant ‘coming out’ process. Also that process is likely very spiritual because this is also 9th from the 9th (bhavat bhavam of 9th) so includes a lot of experiences of higher knowledge, the occult, religious scriptures etc
The 8th house is what I call socialisation. It’s a house of intimacy, the deeper bonds of relationships. Part of our socialisation involves the unspoken social rules, bonds, rituals. That includes emotional exchange and sharing money or paying for things for other people.
No one likes a scrooge and the 8th house demands you get involved with people and not be scrooge. It’s a house of sharing, not hoarding. That’s why I call it socialisation.
The 10th house is also about going out and being away from home. It’s the furthest house away from the 4th house which is your home.
And in the pursuit of your desires and goals, you are often going outside.
Neptune in your chart is that story in your life that will always hurt no matter what but that you had to find forgiveness for.
Astrology is about your nervous system! Period. The configuration of your chart shows why you react a certain way to certain areas of life and things, why different areas of life are in tension with each other.
I think its really ironic and no mistake that Neptune rules over substances but also compassion. Mostly a spiritual feeling of oneness comes in when people smoke or drink.
There’s no such thing as a collective bad year. I don’t know how many times I’m gonna need to say it. While there are collective events that tie us together, we are all running our individual time cycles - our natal signature for a chart (so our basic experience of everything is subjective), transits, secondary progressions, solar returns, solar arc directions, primary directions. The list goes on.
Actual astrology narrates why you are having a great year vs others who aren’t and vice versa.
So the collective ‘2025 this, 2026 that’ is really just a sliver of the picture but on social media, it dominates as if it’s the only thing that’s at play. Why can’t the specificity of astrology go viral instead? And I think astrologers do themselves a disservice by not promoting that enough.
We literally don’t even experience planetary energy the same. We experience it and transits according to the planetary condition in our charts. Which sets the scene for everything else, all the other charts and timing techniques. It’s endless. We aren’t helping by continuing social media pop astrology trends of “2025 this! 2025 that!” because yeah okay it’s the most efficient way to communicate but… we can do better
While the domicile system has its place (exaltation, detriment etc) do not let it restrict in you in your final judgement of a planetary position. I’ve read countless charts and seen real life examples where even exalted planets struggle. And in my system, I don’t even approach it so linear. Every sign has wounds and every planet will feel and embody those. That represents the actual nature of life.
So no I would not say the Moon is automatically any better in Taurus than it is anywhere else. Also Mars is in fall in Cancer, but Mars and Cancer actually share a lot of similarities (cardinal affinity, water sign affinity). So I just don’t care for this system really. It’s old, outdated and doesn’t speak to nuance but is still glorified in the community. And not saying it’s not important in other places, but it’s more restrictive. Traditionalists won’t agree but these threads are for all forms.
The energies don’t operate in such strict linear forms as we have the hubris to think they do.
Eventually criticism of things falls away when you realise everything converges on everything, duality is an illusion, the universe just argues with itself, everything is just energy expressing itself, folding onto itself, not all energies are nice, everything is so specifically designed, you can’t manifest it’s all been designed anyway. Arguing is pointless. There’s just the unfolding of pre designed expression. Like literally, everything is just the unfolding of pre designed expression.
You can’t change anything you’re just moving along a conceptual (not even a real linear) timeline and meeting things. You and the thing are meeting each other. Everything is already mapped out. There isn’t an end goal or pot of gold at the end of the rainbow except your soul’s liberation from whatever this is, but it’s also boring critiquing the west now - yeah the west isn’t perfect but the chasing of a goal or an empire is just expression of energy.
My political views aren’t that strong. Doesn’t mean I dislike certain things. I dislike a lot of things I can’t change especially about people. However, it’s just the expression of energy. I can’t change that. Even when I use astrology, I might speak in free will terms but it’s just to narrate an understanding of the energy that’s at play. Behind the scenes I understand it’s just a giant play that’s already been written and it’s just energy expressing itself.
Our little reactions from our little glass houses are just energy expressing itself, but it’s inconsequential. It might lead to more things (action > reaction) but it doesn’t make us right or wrong because there is no right or wrong. There’s only what we claim to be morally just vs what’s morally bad so we can co exist in peace.

Planets on the Ascendant can mean your body constantly goes through life like:
* Am I too cold?
* Am I hungry?
* Is this unfamiliar?
* Do I have an exit if I need one?
Other people aren’t necessarily not having those signals (obviously all humans do) but they just have a less sensitive alarm system, so they don’t get those signals as loudly or as often. When you have a planet rising, you get those signals loudly and often. It’s like having a very sensitive alarm system. The ascendant is literally your body as well as how you generally move through life/the world, and how you respond (often unconsciously) to all new stimuli. So if it feels like your body is more sensitive, that’s why! Planets are energy, so where they are adds energy. On your ascendant, they add extra energy to physical body.
Also I would say this kind of also counts if you have a planet tightly squaring or opposing your Ascendant.
