You can (and should—not because ‘yay taxes’ but because it’s better for you in the long run) claim income no matter where it comes from. The issue is you’ll have to prove to a bank that you have years of steady, reliable, legal income to get a home loan.

Yes, many escorts file either a sole proprietorship or an LLC and claim a certain level of income through one of those. You can create any kind of business, but you need to be able to collect and maintain documentation for whatever the business is in case you ever get audited, or in case a bank needs more information for something.

I’m by no means an expert, so also ask the providers in your area what they’ve done and see what everyone says! :)

You can also file self employed taxes with Turbo Tax super easy. Just put you’re an entertainer, leave the specific field blank (because it’s optional), claim whatever you deposit into your bank the whole year, do an itemized deduction (advertising, hotel, taxi and keep the receipts), and voila! You’re done.

When I do my taxes every year, I just log onto my bank, pull up every ATM deposit from January 1 to December 31, and my bank website puts into a spreadsheet for me that I can easily add up, and that’s my income. Then I search for the term “MFP” in my bank account debits, and that’s all the Eros ads I payed for to write off. Then I do the same with “Hotwire” and “Lyft” and “VerifyHim” debits and and add them up and write all those off. In case I get audited, every time I get an email with my Eros receipt or Lyft or whatever I write off, I put a label tag named “tax receipts” so it’ll be super easy to back myself up if Uncle Sam gets a wild hair.

Turbo Tax also gives you Quicken for free when you pay to file your 1040se. I keep mine simple and have dependents and don’t make (claim) a lot, so I don’t need the Quicken, but if you make good money with no dependents, you’re gonna want to use the Quicken so you can nickel and dime your write offs and stretch them. Quicken has a phone app that you can take pics of your receipts (like for gas and condoms and lingerie and work things you buy at stores), and the app freaking reads them and files them digitally for you! It’s super cool.

So I do promo modeling work (if you all don't know that). I met this lady that staff individuals for networking lunches/dinners for high-clients (I'm talking billionaires).
