Pinterest can modify pictures with AI???

So I finally opened Pinterest after aaaaaages and found a fanart on my homepage that really caught my eye. When I went to the post, I noticed there was an "AI modified" label in the bottom left corner. I didn't know Pinterest had that? Especially since that AI post didn't credit the original artist nor the original fanart. Isn't that considered stealing? Isn't that highly unethical?

But I'm curious, how does this "AI" thing work? Is it modified by Pinterest itself or set by the person who reposted it? I'm a bit embarrassed for being so out of touch, it's like I just came out of a cave, lol.

Btw, the post with the original fanart does credit the original artist. Shout out to the original artist who drew this beautiful fanart! <3

Harry was unsurprised that Draco kept his room tidy. Well, tidy was an understatement. The first time Harry had stayed over he had, as was his habit at home, shucked his clothes beside the bed and left them where they lay. He thought Draco was going to pop a vessel when he came out of the bathroom and saw them there. He went on a ten-minute rant about the importance of being fastidious in regards to one's home and appearance. He was still muttering about how being raised in a cupboard still didn't earn Harry the right to live like a slovenly troll when Harry finally pulled him into bed and shut him up with a kiss, then told him that his attention to detail could be put to better use than organising his sock drawer by colour.

Draco, still petulant at what he perceived as teasing, had snorted. "Oh, and what might that be, Potter?" He only ever called him Potter now when he was spoiling for a fight.

"You see, Draco," Harry had said, hiding his smirk, "my ex once made me come four times in one night."

Draco scowled. "How is this relevant to our current discussion? And why on earth would you presume to think that I should want to know such information?"

"Well, only someone as fastidious as you could possibly have a hope of maybe, someday, perhaps..." Harry let the challenge shine through in his eyes. "Of replacing that memory with a better one."

Draco got up out of bed and disappeared into the bathroom.

"What are you doing?" Harry called after him.

"Getting you a glass of water," Draco returned, and handed the glass to Harry with a smirk of his own. "You're going to need it."

So, while writing my fic for the Dronarry fest (which you can read here teehee) I sort of got really carried away and ended up doing loads of drawings throughout writing. I mean, camping on a snowy mountain is just too much of a vibe not to. They're supposed to be like little polaroids or something, I don't know. I was trying different things so my style is not consistent but that's fine. I'm gonna keep doing fanart of my own shit until I feel satisfied enough to draw for others :P

My sweet baby Ron can't escape my heart <333 I'm holding him hostage with my endless affection. Anyway, check out all of the fics for the Dronarry fest 2026 posted so far, they're ALL INCREDIBLE. Highly highly recommend. I am beyond excited that I was able to participate <3
