Bruise-colored

I've loved horses since before I could spell it. Never had the chance to spend much time around them - but a girl can look, can't she? As for the name, I didn't really do it on purpose, but it works. When I was ten my cousin's Shetland stepped on my foot and left a perfect hoof-shaped bruise on my instep. I was thrilled. Once a horse geek, always a horse geek.

While Edgeron ran the course, the others rode in a circle. Everyone watched Edgeron except Vincenzo, who gave me this sexy grin- well, gave it to my camera. (they don’t even know who I am behind the lens. They just look at me and see the camera. **not an actual fact**)

During the skills part of the Queen’s Joust, the three jousters who aren’t running the course ride in a circle around the tilt yard. They do this to keep out of the way of the horse running and because Sir Maxx says it “makes a good photo op”.
