So lately I been thinking in a comic about Talia being a hero. I thought it would be cool if the first issue was centred in Bruce, Clark, Lois and Talia having a power couples adventure. What do you think of the concept?

No trace of Talia in the Best of 2018 DC video. And, of course, both Selina and Honor Guest are on it. And people say DC treats all their characters the same.

I believe they are still going with her being the same age as Dick Grayson. I’m not sure so dont quote me on it.

Anyone can either confirm or deny my attempt to answer this out there?

In Batman & Robin Eternal it's confirmed that Dick is 22 years old, so now he should be something around 24-25. If Talia was the same age as him, she should be around 12 when she had Damian, so it doesn't really make sense. In Batman it's said that she has used the Pit many times, and in The Silencer she is shown as a full grown adult while Honor stills a child. I think this means the current canon works for Talia the same way as Ra's because DC knows nothing but impriming Ra's character in her. She is older and the Pit keeps her young.

Maybe they are using the age of her first appaerance and she is something about 50-60, but honestly she could be any age because DC doesn't care enough for giving her an official age or origin.

So in The Silencer Annual #1Talia says she wants to kill Bruce with her own hands.

This comic book is disgusting and makes no fucking sense. I can't wait for it to be cancelled.

Even after they killed Talia they have to villainize her, sexualize her and use her to prop up Honor!!!

Just gross.

I just read The Silencer #6 and the pure disrespect Dan Abnett had for the character of Talia al Ghul made me so nauseous, especially the scene where Talia was going to attack Honor’s child.

You would think they would have forgotten about the “Talia has no problems killing children” bullshit Grant Morrison created in the New52 before he was kicked out, but nope, lets make a woman who was controlled by her father all her life against her will, do the same thing her father did to her to another woman and if that doesn’t work lets make her attack an innocent child (It’s not as if there was a time where she rescued a little boy she didn’t know from being kidnapped and  almost killed a man because he was experimenting on a bunch of babies, right? That didn’t happen, only Grant’s run happened)

And she wasn’t even killed in a dignified manner either, she was literally pulled by her hair and stabbed in the chest by a newly created character, FOR THE SECOND TIME! And to top it off, now this new character wants to stop her from getting to the Lazarus pit to be revived, AKA so that DC would have an excuse to not show Talia again in their comics for a while. Kinda makes you wonder who is going to be their new WoC punching bag if that happened.

The treatment she get by writers is getting way out of hands, it doesn’t matter what comic or what writers is handling, it’s like they all got into a secret meeting and agreed to follow in Grant’s footsteps of shiting on Talia in every chance they get, and no one has made an effort to fix this mess since Gleason’s “R:SoB” book and honestly, at this point I’m just tired of pointing this out only for it to be repeated again.

Someone once said it would do Talia good to be dead, that way she will not be villainized anymore and I’m starting to agree with them.

i get that not every ship can be canon in the mainstream universe, but i don't understand why dc feels the need to step on other ships in order to prop up the mainstream ones. i wish dc let ships like brutalia, wonderbat, clark x diana, dickkory become canon in elsewords or parallel universes because it would allow writers to cater to a little bit for everyone, and could also open up new ways for different storytellings

Because of the money. If a ship is not a fan favorite DC is too afraid of giving them a chance. They don't take any risks. That's why they have been publishing the same stories with the same characters over the years.

Brutalia has been constantly insulted by DC in the last years for making Batcat look better. Now, a short time after the wedding and after TK implied they are having a child, DC is gonna kill Talia in the Silencer. Don't you see a pattern?

Since 2005 Talia has been portrayed as a horrible mother systematically by DC. Besides playing with who is the real father of Damian Wayne, now they are gonna kill his mum in The Silencer.

She is such an interesting person. Not just a Bruce’s beloved or Damian’s mother. Open up your eyes, guys.
