I really didn't want to have to make this post. But the urging of friends lead me here. Hi, some of you know me as ilya, previously you may have known me as béla. I recently moved to the state of florida and, on my first night here, I shattered my back molar. No problem, I thought, I'll get it fixed later. But now the tooth is severely infected and has abscessed in my jaw and throat. This is a life threatening issue. I need the tooth pulled asap, but no dentist will work with me because I have no insurance. I am scared out of my mind. The dentists I've called all want 95 dollars up front for the exam and up to 480 dollars for a single extraction. I feel so powerless in this situation and I am in so much pain. Hydrocodone was prescribed to me for pain and it doesn't even work anymore. I cannot swallow or eat or drink. I hate to ask for help, but I am genuinely afraid. Please help me if you can.
