Sights gaze down upon the herd of humanity that dared to tread so lightly upon his path. With the forward movement of one pronged appendage, deadly optics would scan what he could detect: breathing of creatures smaller than he. Just the slight rise and fall of their diaphragms was enough to trigger his senses, the motion itself serving as the reasoning.
And with the revelation came the beginning of the end, a blood-curdling utterance of dominance echoing between prehistoric debris that surrounded them all. This bellow of beastly proportion would transfer throughout the island, warning all that the king had found prey to grind the bones and rip the flesh from.
So he waited for the game to start, the opportune moment for any human to scream and run in different directions like roaches to the uncovering. He would take no fun in pointless giving up... He was a hunter. He wanted to chase down his victim.
