           Though layered against the cold weather that has become prevalent where he hails from, Allen finds himself quickly and uncomfortably hot not even a full ten minutes when he arrives to a new place. This is a type of heat he has never experienced before, far too used to the London air that made him comfortable in at least a light sweater on the warmest days.  

Already exhausted, the teen plops down in a sorry excuse of a shaded area, that doesn’t do much too much to cool him off. “Is it possible for a place to be this hot?” he asks, mostly to himself or maybe to Tim, but it’s loud enough to be heard by any of the civilians nearest to him.

Diamandra’s sun is said to be as unforgiving as the country itself, furious and unrelenting in a cloudless sky. The raging heat is the subject of many mumbled complaints among the locals of São Cabal, but most try to pay it no mind at all. Naturally they’ve all become acclimated to the tropical climate of their homeland. Business and pleasure go on as usual, just as it does through all the seasons.

In an attempt to find some temporary relief from the weather, Michiko forces her way out of the crowds of the congested marketplace and sets her sights on the shade of a nearby palm tree. Hastily she rummages through her purse for cigarettes, knowing a smoke would ease some of the agitation brought on by the heat. Upon hearing the accent of a foreigner her head perks up, then down to where a young man sat miserably. The outlaw snickers, thinking that he must be one of most ill-prepared tourists she’s seen in years. 

❝What, too much of a prude to take your fancy clothes off, gringo?❞

[ ↺ } Morgan wasn’t prepared to have someone actually pitch into the efforts of having signs as he watched the young woman take one of his signs. Following her over to where she had apparently come from would he see the sign being written on as the portal lead to a location known as Diamandra, Morgan’s eyes going wide in surprise with curiosity as he looked over at her.

“ Dia..mandra? I’ve never heard of such of a place but thank you for helping out. I felt like having signs like these would help strangers here get back home easier or if they want to explore other worlds! “ He’d say with a bright smile, pointing back to the sign that said ‘YLISSE.’ 

“ What kind of land is Diamandra, anyways? Well actually I could go through this light here to see for myself but I wanted to know from someone who hailed from there! “

Glancing over towards the pillar the young man has pointed out, at once she decides that she isn’t even going to attempt to pronounce whatever word was printed on the sign. ❝ Ah, you bet. You wouldn’t believe how many times I’ve ended up back in the same stupid world, while I’m tryin’ to head somewhere else... ❞ Her voice trails off as he begins to question her about her own home world, prompting her to turn back to face him.

❝ Eh, it’s pretty shit.❞ She smiles when she speaks, but Michiko is being completely sincere. Diamandra, although diverse and beautiful, is cruel to its own--and  it could be downright wicked to outsiders. That wasn’t to say that there were decent folks living there, but with everyone looking out themselves and those who they held dear, it wasn’t always easy to get kindness out of someone.  ❝ Not a good place for nice kids like you.❞

The blue skies of the early afternoon begin to smolder into brash strokes of orange and pink as evening nears. Michiko peers at the city from her rickety balcony at the Hotêl Venus, although she watches nothing in particular. The marketplace down below is still bustling with merchants and their patrons, although business gradually slows at the onset of nightfall. Many of the outdoor bars still have their seats filled, the clientele ranging from the drunkards who have been there since noon to the industrious men who crave spirits to ease the burden of a hard day’s work. 

Farther down the block a foreigner has started to garner the stares of the locals. Tourists weren’t completely uncommon in  São Cabal, but they ordinarily kept to the eastern part of town among the comfort of the beaches and resorts. The young woman’s appearance did little to help her situation; children quite like her candy colored hair, although most find it to be bizarre, along with her romanticized version of what appears to be an English maid’s uniform. 

Cat calls are quick to spring up as she carries on down the sidewalk, but little does she know they are the least of her worries. A small group of older men and two women emerge from one of the back-allies, exchanging words in hushed tones before approaching the girl. To the handful of bystanders that sit nearby it is clear that they are either flesh-peddlers or thieves, but fear keeps them from intervening. 

“Are you lost, boneca? ” They let the women of the group speak for the sake of minimizing intimidation. The foreigner is subsequently showered with praise, particularly in regard her pale skin skin and her cutesy demeanor. 

“ We can help you find your way around, miss. These streets aren’t the easiest to navigate , ” one of women assures the maid as the other gently takes her arm in hopes of ushering her off to the car they had parked a few blocks away.

拳 - That girl there, she got it completely! Of course there were the obvious facts to set to the side with the whole ordeal. Ishiyama’s best would’ve shot her an apologetic glance for this instance they were forced to share. However there was a matter that held the same molten intensity of a fight that had to be taken care of. Only so much running could be done and that was learned the hard way. Not even having powers flipped the tides of avoiding her.

Not when she had the very human attachments that could be taken advantage of. Being force to meet eye to eye with this was a task in it’s own right. Her gaze burned and the catcalls in the background certainly didn’t bring ease to the situation.

“You tell em’ Oga’s girlie!”

“At this rate I dunno whether to be sorry or be jealous of this bastard..”

“Both. Definitely both. Killer ladies don’t exactly grow on trees y’know!”

Oh if only he could bury himself into the damn ground right now. One marched to the beat of the other, Oga holding no hesitation in bringing this to a upclose bout. “Sayin’ that like we share the damn house! We ended up getting you a new bike the other day! Don’t you remember that– life machine of a vehicle it was!?”

“Then went and blew up cause of your driving skills!? I applied my hand in helping ya outta this already! I’m not running a motorcycle business here!” Oooh no. No no no, he was not going to deal with this when he got home today! At least this was the ever dimming hope as he failed to realize just hold cruel this sounds. Even the rotten delinquents had to hiss at such outright denial, this guy wasn’t giving a pair of girls roofs over their head!? Apparently with the sort of relations they worked up!?

“Damn.. here I thought I was the cold one..” That mug instantly got a chunk of wall toss at his face, courtesy of Oga Tatsumi.

“SHADDAP! Anyways! Quit making this sound like a family scene! That’s the mood I’m going on about here!”

❝Excuse you?❞ She shrieks incredulously, tossing her head back in wild defiance. The very idea of her rough handling of a vehicle being the cause of their troubles is preposterous. She rode her original bike to hell and back and it remained faithful up until its fiery end. Little did either of them know, the capricious universe just wanted to pit them together for a sake of a good laugh.  ❝How was any of that my fault?! If anything you’re the reason why that piece of crap went kaput on me! Stuff always seem to randomly explode around you...which why I have to deal with your ass to begin with! ❞

The hoots and hollers of Oga’s fellow delinquents make it evident that he’s succeeded in making himself look like the bad guy even though Michiko has already established herself as the real aggressor in this situation. Hearing that she has the majority in her corner fuels the fire she’s already started. She takes a second to glance over her shoulder and wink at her supporters just for the sake of charming them more than she already has.

❝See? Even your little friends know you’re the worst, Tatsumi~❞ She avers mockingly as she turns back to face him. Given his prior track record, she has work cut out for her.  

Oga’s explanation comes as a genuine surprise to the outlaw, as told by the flicker of surprise that appears on her face.❝ Oh whaaaat???  Pfft. They think I’d hook up with you? Really? ❞ The thought of it almost enough to pull a laugh from her gut. Don’t these kids know they’re just a pack of jailbait? They all look to be well into their twenties, but most are nearly half her age! They must be pumping these school lunches with steroids nowadays. The legal logistics of that aside, she’s convinced herself that she would never pair herself with idiots like them--not while she’s madly in love! ❝ Please, my man is hotter than anyone could even imagine. And I ain’t the type of chick to downgrade.❞

[ ↺ } As a means of helping out those lost in the Star Gate, Morgan took it upon himself to make signs for the portals he’d been through! Very simple signs that had the names of the lands on them so people could pick easily instead of going in at random. Dropping one down that said ‘Ylisse’ would he look rather proud. Only to turn around and realize just how many more there were behind him. 

“ Oh. Right. … This is going to take a lot more work than I realized.. I don’t even know half of these names.. “ Sitting down next to a pile of blank fences with brush in hand did he realize this may be more painful than expected.

❝Hey, hey...That ain’t a such bad idea you got there!❞ It was absolutely ridiculous in actuality, but Michiko is almost equally absurd in her optimism. Unlike Morgan, however, her reasons for backing this plan are far more selfish.  Finding her lover would be lot easier for her if she could avoid wandering into world’s she’s already scoured.   

❝How’s about I help you out a little, yeah?❞ Grinning, Michiko plucks a sign from the stack and scribbles a name across its surface.  ❝ Ta-da~❞ she sings once she has finished, turning the sign back toward the stranger to reveal the word ‘DIAMANDRA’ scrawled in her messy script.

Hearing a woman enraged her quickly silenced the normal scuffles of the High School life. Whatever banter made by friend and foe were stuffed away, even the hard boiled delinquents were lulled to a shocked silence when that name rang throughout the halls of the school. Two primary factors were focused upon to give this such high attention. One; her target. Two; the fact it just happened to be a woman who bared a child as well. Rare were the times where his heart either demanded to explode or that he shoved his face to the Earth’s core.

‘You’ve gotta be fucking kidding me.. her, her!? Here of all places!? The hotbed for all of this romcom bullshit!?’ Instantly was Ishiyama’s best met with an array of either snide or outright shocked expressions. It hadn’t taken long for the golden gossip to begin spinning it’s threads. Not being the sort to deal with any of that, the teacher was paid next to no mind as he stormed himself out of the door. All the while did the young prince’s eyes hold an excited twinkle, finally, some excitement!

“Oooh, oh! There’s just no rest for this guy, isn’t it!?”

“Did you spot the kid, did you!? How many hearts of these maidens he plan on stealing away!?”

“This was is a lil different on top of that! Not only is she sporting that mature look, she has a a–” For that man’s well being, someone made to clock him upon the head. These ladies that messed with Oga tend to end lives.

It wouldn’t be long before their encounter was made, Oga himself looking none too pleased as his face was tempted to scrunch up at the sight of her. (This image went and twisted itself up long enough!) Temper the heart, temper the soul. A wrathful woman needed a special edge of delicacy to dance around to remain in one piece!

“And you couldn’t waited till I got home, why?! How in the hell did your ass even find me here!? More than that! Why can’t you read the mood that we’re giving off right now!?”

❝The mood we’re giving off?❞ She echoes, painfully unaware of the gossip she has unwittingly initiated. Michiko is much too used to having all eyes in the room on her, so she chalks the wide eyed stares and goofy grins up to the fact that she has disrupted the status quo. ❝ Who gives a fuck about a mood?!❞ 

“Michiko...” Hatchin on the other hand has picked up on the whispers buzzing around them, as indicated by the rosy burn spreading across her cheeks. Being the little wiz she is, she wonders how the students of Ishiyama could have come to that conclusion. Oga would have had to have been a child, younger than she is currently, to have ever conceived her with Michiko. It was clear to her that they certainly weren’t learning math at this school. “Michiko, they think you...”

❝ Maybe I wouldn’t have had to find you if you didn’t PURPOSELY lock us outta the house! ❞ Hatchin’s words fall on deaf ears, unfortunately. Her balled fists fix themselves onto her hips as she continues to advance across the room, shoving past idle students who stand between her and her reluctant host. ❝ You knew me and Hatchin were going out this morning. You were supposed to leave the key under the mat for us, Remember, shithead?❞

❝ Eh?❞  Her brow arches with the suspicion of a skeptic. In Diamandra it wasn’t often that people were willing to lend a person anything without wanting something in return. She’s more inclined to let the breeze nip at her skin until she’s convinced that this woman is as benevolent as she looks. ❝ Nah, I’m good, lady. ‘Besides, a little cold never hurt anyone, right?❞

Michiko dedicated her morning to painstakingly exploring every corner of the quaint little village the gate had led her to. Every home, every shop, every pen was hers to enter and investigate, much to the bewilderment to the townspeople. Her presence there was only made stranger by her odd interrogations; she spoke to everyone she could find, even those two idiots who spent the entire day laughing beneath the shade. 

The rapidly approaching evening led her to the village entrance, where the fields of Hyrule were laid out before her. She rests her head on the sign post with the village’s name carved on the surface, sighing with a mild sense of fulfillment. She has yet to find what--or rather, who she was looking for, but her work has given her a small handful of clues to work with. That alone is enough to put a weary smile one her face.  

The gentle crinkling of footsteps against grass cues her to toss a glance over her shoulder. She doesn’t recognize the person approaching, although she had gone out of her way to ensure that she had spoken to every resident living in Kakariko Village. Regardless, Michiko doesn’t dwell on that for very long--all that matters is that they might have more information to spill. 

❝ The folks around here are saying there’s a group of desert chicks going around kidnapping men. ❞ She turns back towards the fields sitting beneath an overcast sky, her eyes drifting to the westward towards what was sure to be her next destination. ❝ That true, Mr. Mysterious?❞
