The sun sets and the city comes alive,

The city lights twinkle, like stars on the ground,

But in the midst of it all, loneliness is found.

The crowd moves past, with their own lives tangled,

But the lonely heart aches, with a need unfulfilled.

The sunset fades, and the night takes over,

The city lights shine brighter, yet the heart feels colder.

The loneliness lingers on, like a shadow in the dark,

And the heart deeply yearns for something more

In the midst of the city’s buzz and chaos…
