Choices

It is easy to make a choice when the outcome is known. When you have a guarantee then you have no risk to worry about. But what if there are 100 different outcomes for one decision. What if that choice doesn't only effect you but everyone around you as well. What if the choice you are about to make will turn everyone's world upside down? Grief

When my mother passed I didn't grieve until years later. Then my father died, been grieving since (6 years later). Less than a year after him, my neighbor and close friend Pat whom he lived with briefly, died of an overdose on NYE. My uncle then passes and within a year, my aunt is gone too. How in the fuck am I supposed properly grieve? How am I supposed to get close to anyone if everyone keeps dying?? I really need answers because I am falling the fuck apart. I'm pushing people away. Finally getting out to take my walk with Amiri and found this on the path... this to me is a sign that my father is with me. As a child into adulthood my father collected wheat pennies and it was something he passed down to me. And whenever I feel like my life isn't going the way I want and I feel like falling apart, I find wheat pennies, usually with the year he was born, 1944. 😊❤
