"You built a time machine?! Out of a DeLorean?!"

Alright, so today was originally supposed to be “Marvel Monday” and I was going to do a Marvel comics (or movie) character, but after doing Robocop and Ripley, I was in the mood to do another classic film character.

Those who know me well will know that Back to the Future is one of my all-time favorite trilogies and that I grew up watching the films. Marty McFly has always had a special place in my heart and I knew when I started drawing film characters for this blog that he’d be among the first. In fact, he was originally planned to be done this Thursday for my “Throwback Thursday” drawing, but I just couldn’t resist drawing him now. Anyway, hope you all like him as much as I do. He was fun to draw and to figure out all his various layers (it must be cold in Hill Valley, California). Thanks for checking it out!

Also, I should point out that the quality of my illustrations on this blog WILL fluctuate. There’s no way they can all be quality, and I won’t always be able to spend the time working on them that I have spent on these last few. I also won’t always have access to my Cintiq and computer, so some will have to be hand-drawn. I hope you understand. But I will try my best to keep the quality consistent.
