One thing that everyone tends to forget is the fact that you don't need to make perfect decisions, you need to make good ones. Doing something positive, no matter how small, is a step closer to your goal. Life is not about perfection - if you always strive for perfection you will always feel like you are not doing enough. What you have to do is set a goal and think about all the small things you can to achieve it. And if you fail, don't worry...get back on track and move on - remember: GOOD decisions, not PERFECT ones!
are you sure you don't have time? are you sure you don't have time to workout, or cook, or take better care of your appearance, or invest in a hobby? are you sure you're so busy with your daily obligations that you simply have no free time?
or is it maybe that you're spending what little free time you have on needless news outlets, getting scared for sport? or going out with people who make you feel small and insecure? or catering to family members who only put you down? or trying too hard at a job that will not value your effort? or endlessly scrolling on social media, consuming the same uninspiring content, watching other people brag (or lie) about their achievements?
real effort is a trade off. you're gonna have to give up a lot of things to be able to redirect your time and energy to new experiences, new people, new ideas, new habits. and the first thing you'll have to do is assess what is it that's stealing time away from your healing, because you will have time as soon as you decide that your health is your priority. trust me!

75 Hard Challenge Update:
Day One:
Drank water
Read a book
Walked
Ate healthy and stopped eating at five pm
Day Two:
Drank a ton of water
Took a nap instead of walking because I got sick, but allowing my body to heal is productive and I did a lot of housework this day so I think that counts
Listened to an audiobook
Ate soup to heal my sickness
Day Three:
Drank water
Went on a walk
Read my Bible for longer than usual
Chose tea instead of coffee
Day Four:
Drank water
Walked
Read my Bible
Stopped eating after five (I’ve started to notice that I sleep better now that I’ve started doing this)
Day Five:
Drank water
Did a lot of manual labor at home and at work
Read my Bible
Ate after five but only because I was feeling super weak for some reason
Day Six:
Drank water
Swam as my exercise
Read my Bible
Stopped eating at four pm because I didn’t feel hungry
Day Seven:
Drank a ton of water
Went on a brisk walk before work
Read my Bible first thing in the morning
Ate a little bit more today because I was feeling super hungry but still stopped before five
Listen up!

This could SAVE SOMEONE'S LIFE.
YOU HAVE NO EXCUSE NOT TO REBLOG THIS.
I DON'T GIVE A FUCK IF IT DOESN'T GO WITH YOUR BLOG'S THEME.
And yes, REBLOG. Liking does no shit at all. This isn't ig.
You reblog, people see it. You don't, people don't see it. This shit's that simple.
This could save someone's life. It's not a joke.
I mentioned this before in another post, but also if you need help yourself or want to help someone else, they have a nifty little feature on here.
Simply type "suicide" into the search bar and a window will appear asking if you are ok and list some resources. @support also has a post about this as well.
Very useful for if you wish to recommend resources to a friend or need them yourself but don't want to use a search engine for any reason.
Idc that this is an NSFW blog. Everyone is important and deserves help. You matter and you aren't alone
reminder: people who run study blogs, channels, accounts are not productive all the time. they are not motivated 7/24. they also have their ups and downs. they fall behind their programs too. don't let the constant productive posts fool you. we are all human. it's alright to fall down as long as you get back up and keep going.

My 75 Hard Challenge ✨
I decided that I’m going to challenge myself to do the 75 hard challenge (because I need some structure in my life). I’m hopefully going to track my progress here to keep myself accountable.
I’m going to adjust the rules slightly to fit with my lifestyle and the specific things I want to work on, but the challenge splits itself up into five categories:
1. Diet
2. Physical health
3. Water
4. Reading
5. Progress tracking
Here’s how I’m going to implement these prompts into my challenge:
1. Stop eating after five.
I’ve heard that intermittent fasting can help with sleep and digestion, so I’m going to try it for this challenge to see if anything changes.
2. Work out/walk every day
This is something I technically already do, but I might try to go out and work out at the gym at least once a week to spice things up a bit and get out of the house.
3. Drink at least 20oz of water a day.
I do not drink enough water (so little that it’s kind of a problem) so I’m making it a priority for the next 75 days.
4. Read every day
I’m going to read every day by getting into my Bible every morning and starting my day with God’s word, as well as listening to an audiobook whenever I go on a walk instead of listening to music (I want to add to my finished book list so bad).
5. Progress tracking
I’m going to track my progress in my personal journal and then try to update on here once a week.
💕💕💕💕
This feels like it’s going to be really hard, but isn’t that the point?? I hope I can keep myself accountable and see some changes in my life. Wish me luck!
